  • Ouch. So, should I send your coupon for a free attitude adjustment through here?

  • Ickle baby aww I would love one of those

  • cute lill' baby

    on other note,

why is it everytime I find a cute video of someone lovingly playing with a darling little animal there is always a few dumbasses who start peta-like conversation or argument...

    nuisance, really

  • true, assholes

  • Mink, Chinchillas and Ermine are also considered wild animals. PETA,, broke into and released about a million from a fur ranch in Minnesota some years ago. They stood in horror as everything with claws and/or teeth came from miles around and snatched them up. Wolves, Coyotes, Owls, Hawks, Eagles, Foxes, is was a buffet for predators. Poor things didn't know to be scared, why?, because they were domestic versions of the wild ones and didn't know to run. Apples and Oranges.

  • Actually, If acquired young and raised as a domestic and socialized, a Cheetah is one of the few big cats that will readily domesticate. I understand what you getting at about wild animals, but, the Servals you see in peoples homes are domestically raised, captive born, not wild. If released into the wild, a captive raised Serval has little chance to survive in Africa. They lack the skills taught them by wild parents in avoiding enemies, and survival skills. Something would kill within hours.

  • "What makes you the authority on knowing whether a serval would much rather be with their parents or not?"

O' maybe Common sense! Common sence would dictate that any living being would live a better quality of life when in there own habitat.

  • It doesn't matter, Servals are solitary animals. That means no contact, till mating season, but that doesn't mean they are happy. I believe any animal in captivity that is well taken care of, feed, loved, and given necessary space would be much happier.

  • I have yet to see people, who would consider "exotics" like a serval as a pet, demanding that some be taken from the wild... there are breeders well established. If we humans domesticate animals we also need to take care of them and provide them with a decent life, at least, and hopefully more than that. International pet trade is very strict, you just can't get a serval that was born wild to your home.

  • all arguments aside... Sooo Cute!!!! XD

    hope he's doing well :)

  • cute

  • you have good "kitten language". Especially with this serval kitten.

  • I know Servals aren't exactly big and ferocious but you can't say "oh cats are domesticated so I'm going to go get a pet Cheetah". You going to go get a pet whale because you have a goldfish?

  • To those using the argument that dogs were once wild and were domesticated and so therefore it is ok to own any animal and domesticate it: dogs were domesticated 15,000 years ago. That's a frickin' LONG time. I understand that Servals aren't exactly as difficult to keep as Tigers or Lions or Wolves but to say that "oh dogs were once wild so we can keep anything we want and domesticate it!" is ignorance....

  • No one can take away the fact that these cats are cute! But they would much rather be with there own parents and family!

If you want a pet go to your local animal shelter where there are lots of wonderful pets waiting to be adopted!

  • CDNHottie69, while I agree that people should consider the option of going to a local animal shelter BEFORE buying from a breeder/pet store, I'm not sure YOU are justified in saying what an animal really wants. What makes you the authority on knowing whether a serval "would much rather be with their parents" or not? It doesn't seem unhappy to me in this video.

  • oh wow its so precious

  • I have to agree with CDNHottie69. A Serval (even a "cute and cuddly" Serval kitten) is STILL a wild animal. It is NOT the same as a kitty cat.

  • All now "pets" once were "wild" animals. Serval's are perfectly suited to keep at homes, aslong as you can care for them, and are willing to adapt your life style to them. It's not an ideal pet though. Big nails etc. but it can be kept with proper care. Same goes for wolves and dogs. A "normal" dog wich grows up out doors will be the same as a "wild" animal.

Everything was wild once, and aslong as the animal has what he needs, he will be better of.

  • explain dogs,cats,hamsters,snakes,birds,etc

    you are such an idiot...

  • Do you know the difference between domestic and wild? Your the type of person who is so selfish and self centered that you would take a wild animal out of its habbitat to please yourself. Go play inside a tiger cage, it will make it clear what wild and domestic means. You self centered piece of shit! LOL!

  • do you?holy shit....pet dogs come from either the wild or born from a DOMESTICATED DOG,wow..and im selfish for taking in a so called wild animal into my house, giving it love shelter and food?you are some whole new breed of idiot.

  • By the way you talk and write I think it's time for you to pick up a book. What may I ask is love shelter? LOL!

So taking a wild animal out of its own habitate is ok with you huh? If someone took you out of your home when you where young would be kidnapping! Is that ok with you, you selfish Idiot!

  • i meant love, shelter and food.and why do i need to pick up a book, because i dont use perfect grammar or spelling over the internet? woopty fucking du! and no humans are different, for one we are higher up on the food chain, and most are smarter then the average fucking bear, like myself,so shutup please

  • A Serval isn't a common dog. There aren't 4 million homeless Servals in shelters across america right now. I think that CDNHottie69 was getting at was you can't simply go out into the forest and pick up any animal you want and take it home to be your pet. People end up buying exotic animals without knowing how to care for them and they end up neglected and deprived and usually die.

  • lol cute kitty...is his name Buddha? just a wild guess...

  • Is that Serval you're speaking.

  • LOL!!!

  • Too cute! :)

  • Immensely cute but should be with its mom?

  • You have to pull them from their mothers very early to successfully domesticate them.

  • No matter what you do. A wild animal will always be a wild Animal! Bringing them into your home does'nt mean you are Domesticating them either!

  • Yes, wild animals all have instincts, you cant control that, but putting them around people at an early age will help get them used to people, and breeding domesticated serval to serval, will help make domesticated versions.

  • Cute!

  • It's lovely!

  • in this video he can't be more than a week... ? very playful for one so young. How is the little one doing 2 months later? and what did you name the kitten in the other video or are they one and the same?

  • how old? only a few days for sure.
