Sound of Rum isn't music for people who need fine lines between genres. Rock music drew from influences like R&B, Country, Jazz, Classical and Folk, so if you think of Rock as being a combination of different kinds of music, then SoR IS rock. But I wasn't being that pedantic. If you say 'you rock' to someone, it doesn't have to mean that they are in a four-piece band that makes Rock music, does it? What IS rock music to you anyway? Rock and Roll? Classic Rock? Post Rock? Pop Rock? Punk Rock?
