  • Warranty on Dream Cymbals? How does it compare to other brands out there? I don't want a broken cymbal in less than 2 years.

  • Those mini bell rides are beautiful

  • I used to play a combination of Zildjian and Sabian because both companies do certain things well, but neither are rounded out for my taste sound-wise. I now play with all Dream Cymbals. All of them are rides. What i like is that all of their rides can also be used a crashes and vice versa. I use a 16"energy crash with a 16" bliss crash as hi-hats. It sounds SICK! People everywhere are like "what the hell kind of cymbals are those? I WANT THEM!"

What do your dreams sound like?

  • I have a 17" Contact crash and it´s the crappiest cymbal i have played in my whole life, fuck Dream Cymbals

  • dream blows......im sorry haha. they do not sell. im getting rid of them and getting amedia

  • What is the Name/Size of that first cymbal Mr. Wright hit? I loved it!

Also, if possible, could I get the Name/Size of the second one as well? Thanks a bunch!

  • Should I get 20 or 22 Bliss ride?

  • where can i buy the energy series and get a good deal?

  • I wish I could get sponsored and just have all Dream cymbals. That would be so cool.

  • Great cymbals for 1/2 the price , , , just gotta hit em and find the right ones.

    I like the Bliss/Vintage , , , I have a 20in and a 14 in bliss , , ,

I wanna get a 24in small bell bliss.

  • The bells are too small as always, but nice ringing.

  • Not my cup of tea but they sound nice. Should be great for Jazz drummers.

  • "I was blown away right from the first playing. These cymbals have a unique earthiness and feel that fit my playing perfectly.

    Rick Latham

  • Man,they sound really good! I really hope they get bigger worldwide.

  • K guys.. Help me out..

Do they sell these local? Online? What's the scoop?

    These are sweet. :D

  • Mostly online. I know a local shop where I live that sells them, but for the most part you will have to order online

  • I had the option between an 18 inch HHX china.... And a 20 inch Dream china....... *hits HHX* wow that sounds cool. *checks tag and shoots self* hits Dream....*HOW FUCKIN MUCH?!* 95 bucks *I'LL FUCKIN TAKE IT*!

  • @Pandanobear how long have you had it, because some people complain about durability

  • @Dragon5n About 5 months I'd say. I don't see any damage yet. I haven't had it bell up once. That might make a difference.

  • @Pandanobear Where'd your get it for 95?

  • @Dragon5n My local music store. They have shit tons of Dream cymbals in now. They have more Dream than the do Zildjian or Sabian.

  • i love dream cymbals best out there ENERGY series for life!!!!!! fuck zildjian and sabian

  • These guys are coming to Waterloo on the 30th. I'm Fuckin' excited. :D

  • waterloo nebraska?

    or another waterloo?

  • I'm using a 17" Dream Bliss crash and a 20" Contact sizzle ride in a few of my vids.....I love 'em both!

and I grew up playing on Zildjian and Sabian cymbals

  • what videos do you us'em in?

  • In my most recent 4 vids......My MJ drum covers and a Bobby Caldwell vid

if you wanna hear Both of my Dream cymbals together (Crash and Ride) click on my Man in the mirror drum vid....

  • nice quality

  • These are awesome cymbals at great prices. Right up there (if not further ahead) with the 'big' names. i think the overall standard of the 'big' names has dropped greatly over the past 10-15 years since they all started introducing their budget lines. i've got a 16" A custom that sounds like a 2 year-old made it.

  • i hate crash rides

  • i dont think youve seen these

you cant tell which it is. works perfect either way

  • picked up a Contact ride 20 in yesterday , , , beautiful sound. Took it home and it sounds like my 22 zildjian so I returned and exchanges it for a Bliss Vintage saved 30$ and got a more jazz , dark mellow ride for $129 ! They have a 15in bliss hi hats , , man that was nice for $145 !

I have top of line zildjians and sabians. Dreams can be yours for 1/3 the cost. I wish I had this option 20 years ago.

  • crash the damn cymbals!!!

  • these are better than zildjian.

  • Actually, not bad. Don't care for the energy series.

  • even zildjian started somewhere

and for the price, zildjian doesnt come close

  • What do you mean?

.....I was thinking the same way until I tried out the bliss and contact series I was hooked....because they had the sound I wanted

Did you even try the cymbals lilpbass? or are you stuck in the Zildjian fandom?

  • Don't go praising these things or they will raise the prices through the roof. The prices have gone up already on these. Musicians are making less money these days. We need cymbals like these made by cheap labor in Chinese sweat shops.Hence the somewhat reasonable cost of these.Plenty of profit being made on these already so I hope dealers don't get greedy or just buy used instead and the Hell with the dealers.

  • one of the reasons im buying is because of the low prices

the smarter move is to keep the prices down because thats really whats attracting the consumers

  • love how he doesnt crash the crash

  • Hey all, check this Vid out of an awesome 20" Dark Energy Ride, it's flippin' beautiful!! watch?v=js1wWZMd-mU

  • love the energy series. last ride sounds awsome.

  • that contact flat ride was beautiful!

  • jesus christ that first ride was nice

  • wow u right!

  • i am pretty sure that if these cymbals costed a fortune, they would be very very much appreciated.. unfortunately, a cheap cymbal is (generally) considered as a bad cymbal.. the same thinks happens to me though.. but i like think i m gonna buy a bliss ride soon

  • dont be so negative

  • These are great cymbals. I own a pair of 14" bliss hats. Incredible sound: perfect blend of trash, voice/tone and volume. A must have at a price you can't beat!

  • What size is that first ride cymbal he plays? 22"?

  • which line is the best for rock

  • energy is probably the best

  • i orderd zildjian a custom pack, and they are on back order, and i just bought a 14" dream bliss crash, and im thinking about fucking the zildjians and buying all dream cymbals

  • me to. except i only have a a custom 18in crash and a 6in splash haha

  • meh.. jazz drummer's dream.. Metal drummer's nightmare..

    :P

  • a CONVENTIONAL metal drummers nightmare. but who would want to be conventional? i know metal drummers who use very thin cymbals and they sound awesome. adds an overall trashy element without excessive china use lol.

  • so do I. I use a Sabian HHx Legacy ride in every music a play, even in metal concerts. Is symple: it's my sound

  • damn its like the boston drum shop's channel haha

  • The most punk/metal thing you can do is to do something that is not punk/metal.

  • I have a 22" energy ride and a 12" contact splash they look horrible but they sound awsome

  • so was he playing the bliss or the contact at 1:59?

  • That one was the contact series.

  • the best priced hand hammered cymbals on the planet!! they sound amazing, they are durable and they shine (visually and audibly). i have bags of cymblas and these are the only ones i use now.

    dave gaines

  • I played a few of those bliss rides at my local music store. I was absolutely blown away!

  • You suck.

  • like I said, no offence

  • It is always a matter of taste. That is your opinion.

For me they are very good cymbals.

  • ordering one of these on friday :]

i cant wait to try them out.

  • Reading comments below:

I agree, most companies cannot duplicate the same cymbal that closely. It's kind of nice but not at the same time. I think Sabian does the best job at that.

But those Dream cymbals sound great. I want to check them out.

  • YYAYA SABIAN!!

    i got Xs20's

  • Dreamcymbals are much better than the Sabian XS 20. The XS 20 is the B20-entry level series and pressed into shape by machines. The Dreamcymbals are HANDHAMMERED!!!

  • I really love A's and K's....but have been really wanting to try Dreams' out. I play some jazz but a lot of R&B and rock. Do you guys think contact series or bliss? I love the bliss but want a little drive. And what about Crashes and splashes? Anyone know what does good with these? thanks. ron

  • I started using some of the Bliss cymbals, and they're brilliant cymbals. wonderful.

  • I like those cymbals. Are they expensive?

  • There pretty cheap actually. One bad thing I have heard about them is that they can be somewhat inconsistent, some sound great, some don't.

  • That's a problem every cymbal brand has. My drum teacher has two Zildjian K 16" somethingoranother crashes that sound as different as a 14 and a 16. The exact same cymbal.

  • Zildjian actually is extremely inconsistent in their sound. I know from fact

  • Actually ALL handmade cymbals sound individual. No matter if it's Zildjian or any other name brand. I've used Zildjian for 20 years so I do think I know what I'm talking about. Their quality really has dropped significantly over the years. I don't care if you people spend for overly priced cymbals, that's your own set back. Just know that obviously you're not buying your cymbals with ears and heart but with a brand in mind. Foolish in my opinion, but well, it's not my money you're spending :D

  • Where did you find them?

i want to buy some but i cant find them anywhere!

  • Ebay....

  • My Zildjian 14" sounds like a 16", and my 16" sounds like a 14"!
