  • Nice Flowmasters! I like sidepipe's...

  • where did u get the front seats?? nice gauges too

  • sounds nice what block is it

  • i love those gauges holy shit if it wasnt 800 bucks id totally buy it for my iroc

  • nice

  • ADJUST UR CARB

  • How can it be an 86? If the 86 is the only year that has da HMSL on the rear glass and yours has it on da spoiler it might be an 87 or 88 no? But its really nice dough.

  • I can see your car use to be red

  • hey bro nice car!! i have a question for you im sure its happened to you, i made my car stick shift it was automatic and the problem im having is that ive driven it hard a few times and the tranny mount f's up what did u use in your case or that hasnt happened to you i only have a 305 from crying out loud lol and i want something that sounds just like your car what engine are you running?

  • @matapollos15 nvm about the engine i saw it in the description lol

  • Hey great 3rd gen, just curious on cam and exhaust.. What size is cam, and those flowmasters dumped. Do you have the car suspension highered for the dual dumps ?? Please let me know. Thanks

  • Lol still got the stock radiator hose to go around the AC unit

  • Idle's too low. Shouldn't lope like that, shakes everything else to pieces. Ideal idle for the cam it sounds like it has would be about 950RPM or so.

Nice car besides. Stickshift, not set up for drag, I'd love to have a drive.

  • That guage cluster is bad ass!

  • where did you get your gage set up from?

  • Found the "Gauge" setup from Eckler's Camaro parts.. Google it. 800 Bucks when I bought it;)

  • oh yea, kept having idle problems with that car, never could figure out why it would be reset constantly, took engine apart and cam was scorched on its side, believe to have been caused from to much body flex

  • @v7nf lol, i don't think any of what you said could be right. Then again, you're the professional.

  • @DAKMAIN no im not a professional, nobody could figure out what caused it,given all the damage to the structure it was asumed.im not disrespecting your car I love it just strengthin the body up so it last, theres strut tower brases, frame conectors, bushings I beleive you know all that already

  • I had ablack one like that 383 different rims slots still have the hood, bent the car up tore shocks out many times, broke windsheild twice!used come along to pull body back out!!ended up taking car apart sold engine rims kept hood some suspension parts for another one, body went to shreder.fun car!!!

  • Very nice idle sounds good.

  • Idling way to low!!

  • @ket2323 No it's not.. I loved it that way.

  • Yeah that's a perfect idle! I have a '71 Ford Maverick with a built 302 and I have it idling about like that.

  • @ket2323 Its called a CAM

  • Why is it idling so low?...it sounds like it has a decent street/strip cam, but its not even idling at 1,000RPM....any small block with a decent size street cam should idle atleast 1,000RPM.....

  • says who? my '76 torino ran at 850rpms from the factory, my '88 silverado ran at 900rpms from the factory , and my '85 s10 with a built 355 runs at 875-900rpms. who ever told you that is a tard.

  • 350 engine???

  • Damn it sounds nice but that color just ruins it...

  • @WTMLuis bet its worth more than your ride

  • @Metaliica474921 I don't know how much his engine costs, but I'd estimate my ride is worth about 6-8k. I was going to buy a camaro with a vette engine but decided against buying a car that has been fucked with.

  • Where did you get that cluster housing?

  • Go to Ecklers Camaro and order up.. Expensive though..

  • what i want to know is WHY you even have a radio in there. i could listen to the motor aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall day lol

  • Its so when he runs out of gas and cant drive it any where he can at least drink beer and have some thing to listen too

  • Haha.. Jepp.. :)

  • Yeah well.. My ears were hurting after only half an hour drive with this car. If I were to keep the car, I'd have to put on a quieter exhaust. Don't really know why I put in that radio. Could not hear it at all..

  • damn that loud huh? what did yhou have muffler wise? flowmasters?

  • I really like how he left the outside of the car stock =)

  • Damn! Music to my ears. I want a camaro just like that.

  • What type of motor and what type of compression. are u going to leave the exhaust like that because it sounds like a beast

  • ugly color

  • Well you know.. It was a project. I never intended to keep that color. But I sold it before i ever got around to paint it.

  • Where did u buy the custom gauge panel? i really need one my gauges are all fucked up.

  • You can still get them from hawksthirdgenparts website. They come with gaguesl; lots of different choices too.

  • Can you tell me the build of this motor? Like what kind of heads, cam size, cubic inches, etc.? Thanks.

  • Sorry.. Couldn't tell you if I wanted. It is a Boyd 355 Racing engine though..

  • awsome

  • I have an 86 iroc that i just finished putting an LT1 with a cam, port and polished heads, comp cam roller rockers and an LT4 intake manifold. I also got the T-56 six speed tranny in there too. My final step is doing the interior...and those gauges are EXACTLY wat i ve been looking for. Did they fit in perfectly? Also do you have any part number or reference for that instrument cluster. Killer ride!

  • Well.. The cluster gave some headache because the manual is very confusing. But i got it done. Google Ecklers Camaro and you will find the cluster on their website. Nice touch-up to an old classic. Goo luck with your car.

  • @buickwc67 why wouldnt you just put an LS or LQ instead of the problematic LT?

  • ya mine 2

  • ya i understand dude..wat it run 1/4 mile jw??

  • You know, i never got that far. The car was built to race at a raceway down just south of Daytona. But being involved with a lot of other stuff, just took all my time. I'd love to know my self what she would do on the 1/4 mile stretch, cause this car was unbelievable fast.

    Regards!

  • looks like an old tired engine than a racing engine there buddy

  • I never really cared how the engine looked. The guy that built this engine has had the car since 1994, and i guess they didn't really care how the engine looked either, as long as it run the way it was supposed to after all the rebuilding of the engine. I wish the engine compartment looked as sweet as your camaro's compartment does usnavyseals99, but it was never really my intention. I was more into the interior and how it sounded and looked externally. (even though i never got it painted)

  • 0:02 your camaro sounds awsome! lol

  • lol :)

  • Omg, what a beautiful camaro!!! What did you use to make the shifter plate next to the window and trunk switch?

  • Hello there Michael Collazo. The shifter plate was made of 1/4 inch Lexan. (Almost like plexi glass)

I was cut to fit, sanded and polished. Then a layer of black paint underneath. Real easy..

  • what size engine did you have in this car? just wondering.

  • It was a 355 Boyd racing engine in it.

The compression ratio in it was so intense, that it was nearly impossible to get the engine started when it was warm. Thanks for commenting.

  • would you recommend this car to be a good first car?

  • well, if you have a sandblaster for rust removal, and the money for gas..

I'd say yeah it would be alright.

  • haha thats what my first car is and i still have it lol ya its a good first car just not to good on gas mileage

  • Actually, on this engine i averaged about 25 MPG on the highway.. Pretty good if you ask me ;)

  • lol ya thats pretty good actually

  • sad that you had to sell it

    they are great cars

what did you get for it

  • Hello.. Well.. The economy being the way it is, i really lost a lot of money when i sold it. But of course i didn't expect to cover every bit of money i put into it anyways. But i ended up selling the car for a lot less than it was worth. The guy who has the car now, has painted it blue with white racing stripes over the car, and it looks awesome..

  • What made you sell it?

  • The main reason i sold it was that i lost interest in the car after putting so much work to it. It was not a really nice ride. The engine was shaking the whole body, and the noise while driving was unbearable. Your ears was sore for a whole day after just half an hour drive. Besides i didn't want to put down the last money to get the car painted. Don't get me wrong, it was a fun car, but not comfortable at all. Thanks everybody for your kind comments..

  • Yeah I was just wondering I've loved these cars since I was a kid. It does look like a fun ride and if I get a nice engine in mine I hope to dynomat the interior.

  • sounds like a beast wanting to be unleashed on the streets

why did u get rid of a beautiful car like that

  • got that same hood

  • Yeah it is a nice looking hood. I hope your Camaro looks better than mine :)

  • I was wondering how you did your dash like that and how much it cost you, my dash i really need to fix up, yours looks awsome

  • yo i dont no if ull no but im looking to buy this 1986 z28 camaro and i can not c the exaust pipes. is it way up in the front like your's?

  • Hey i really liked your gauges, where did you find them?

  • why the hell did u sell that??

  • Please look through the comments dude.. I have mentioned earlyer that you can get this hood on eBay. It's expensive though. Just search for Daytona Turbo hood on eBay Motors and you'll find it..

  • Can someone plz tell me how or where to get that hood

  • I might have to end up getting a turbo daytona hood as well to get my carb set up to fit under a hood, I dont care for cowl hoods much, well not aftermarket. On like a chevelle ss it looks good
