  • A far better and prettier way to get to St Ives even on today's equivalent class153s! Thank God Beeching didn't get his grubby hands on this lovely branch. Shame the original St Ives Station was allowed to be demolished though. Just think of the specials that could have used the line if the platform was still the same length it was when built!

  • Thanks for the making the effort!

  • great video! Brings back happy memories of better times.

  • there is an awful lot of going back and forth in the video. One minute the train's going towards St Ives, the next it's leaving Carbis Bay back to Lelant.

  • Great vid what a lovely place.

  • what a great video! Superb line and motive power as well!

  • Super little video. Looks like a real fun ride, especially in good weather.

  • Type in Bubble car Cardiff bay into youtube to see one of them running

  • Dapol are to make a model of this unit in N'Gauge

  • Beautifully done!!

  • Strange to think that 17 years later 4 cars are needed in summer!

  • That'd actually be a Class 122 my friend. Good vid!

  • Oops! Thanks-correction made.
