@romanvanpersie Since you're used to seeing flops; From your perspective it is a smart play but let me tell you what flops has done in today's competition... it has turned hard nosed athletes into complete drama queens. Instead of actually doing some REAL defense like go for a block, a steal or give a hard foul to send a message, now most defenders would rather be lazy and be a pussy and flop and feint some type of hit to go in their favor. It's frivolously deceitful.

@Dtitilator thanks man...We've seen a similar thing with football over here over he pas decade as 'tackling' has almost been made a lost art due to rules being lightened for safety... Kind of understand it in football though..broken legs are easily done with such tackles! Bu n basketball, how dangerous is a good blocking play?? I could see the odd bust nose or twisted ankle.. the nba was so awesome several years ago. there were the bad boy pistons beating the crap out of teams before the big split. charles barkley's big mouth. mj's dominance. magic's comeback. rodman out rebounding guys twice his size. o'neal breaking backboards. most of all, watching kemp dunk on ANYONE that was in his way was always incredibly entertaining to watch.
