@ishcarly really? vanilla ice? tupac got to be the greatest rapper ever by himself. he grew from poverty. john lennon needed a band to help him. they both preached for peace, but it was easier for john lennon to do so because of his era. all kinds of people were putting on these displays of peace during john lennon's era. tupac took the initiative on his own. im not saying tupac is better; i believe they're pretty damn equal. i listen to both of them equally and acknowledge that they r legendary

Hmm, i don't want to get into things to much, but how much impact can song realy have you only base it on music? like how important can it realy be if it's just instrumental pretty much. I would say its a compbination of things that defines a good song not me but generally, innovation, lyrics(meaning and just flow itself), instruments, the music it self is pretty much as critcal as the lyrics it self, meaning of cousre like how strong it can get it's message across no matter how complex

For musical talent i completely respect Jazz and classical music, which seems to be a more aquired type of music. FOr musical talent, classical needs the most i'd think. But Imagine is pretty much a pop song thats has a time-less message thats has defiantly stood the test of time and is regarded by maney as one of the best songs of all time. Musically it is simple, actualy very but how often is there a song this simple this big, This songs is as big as it is for its over all message.
