Saya no Uta is a fairy tale about "monsters" and "humans."

It is the story of one Sakisaka Fuminori, a man who received the curse of

perceiving this world and its inhabitants as monstrous; it is the story of Saya,

the single girl whom Fuminori recognized as human. It is a story about how Fuminori

lost his humanity and how Saya gained hers. But, most importantly, it is a story

about love - a love which defiles the world.

@gravitationyuki uh, there was a translation, you'll just have to look for it. tlwiki.tsukuru.info used to have it but they took it down so JAST USA can make another garbage localization. I'd recommend you look for an upload for the translation somewhere else.

People keep calling this a game, but it really isn't.

It's a visual novel with alternate endings.

You don't "play" anything.

Any kind of player interaction can be classified as gameplay. So yeah, visual novels can be called games as long as they give the player the ability to interact with the story. (even if that interaction is down to a minimum)

yeah and Im kinda pleased that i got all three ending

though the first short end might be the better one since nothing twisted happens,the hero becomes normal and saya didnt turn anyone into mindfuck creatures :)

Really? I thought the short ending was incredibly sad. He regained his old self, but he is locked up forever, and he lost his friends. And he lost Saya. He hasn't got anything anymore. And Saya is still searching for her Papa who she will never meet again. Isn't that sad? I like the long ending best. Even if the mankind all turns into Saya-creatures it's a paradise for Fuminori. After all, when the world has gone insane he sees it all as normal. That's why it's so damn touching.

I agree on that. Maybe Saya actually thought of Fuminori as a strange, gross creature? But even of that, she loved him. I suppose we all have different kinds of opinions on beauty. The story was beautiful, and yet remained a glimpse of horror, wich in my opinion makes this one of the best VN's ever.
