  • Weird, it was my college professor who recommended this game to me. He was like "John, please teach me how to emulate PSX games with the proper bios and plug ins and settings and what nots for it, here's the game, I'm really desperate to play it" and boom he gave me Chrono Cross :)

  • This song is played when you get the real ending to the game :')

    miss this series...

  • One of my deepest regret is haven't know or seen this game while I'm still a teen 'cause at that time the Ps1 wasn't born into this world yet

Awwwwwww I'm hurt~~~ You guys are so lucky.

  • @ortherworld you can still play it. you're never too old to enjoy a good story.

  • @wkunzelman1 Yeah...but. It gave a unique taste when you play it while you are still young.

  • A must-to-be-played game collection: Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. I like both games =D

  • When I first saw this game I was about 10 or 11, I saw it for rent at a movie rental place on a military base and I simply thought "This looks pretty cool, it might keep me distracted for a while." Little did I know that this would be the most significant piece of interactive art (calling it anything else is an understatement) I would have the joy of playing. At that time with the rental game I only got to about the point where you choose to either save or leave Kid.

  • @2zeigh2 I must've rented this game at least 30 or more times before I finally went back to the states with my mother and happened to see the game at a walmart, (you can understand my excitement) so I begged my mother to buy it for me, I, obviously, didn't have my PS1 with me while we were there so for the entire 17 days I was there I read and re-read the pamphlet that came in the game case until I finally got back home and finally played it.

  • @2zeigh2 I'm 20 now and I still have that first game, through 4 moves and at least 8 or 9 years. Unfortunately the original game is scratched beyond repair, but I keep it anyway, I have a new version which I play at least once a year.

Listening to this song always makes me shed a few tears of joy as my heart lights up with memories of those days.

  • @sephirothvalentine12 Are you related to Bitchy McSephiroth? Thats Karsh Lol if you watched Lucahjins CC walkthrough! :P

  • i love this one :)

  • This song and the whole end of the game makes me feel sad, because Kid must leave, and Serge realize that the whole adventure wasn't a dream.....and he miss her, and she only says: i'll find you....no matter how......i'll find you

  • @RedEyeBlackDragon777 I KNOW RIGHT!! I just finished Chrono Cross 3 days ago, and i feel taht my heart is so sad! I thought that il be a happy ending. But no everything was lost in the ending :(!

  • This song makes me sad....but ..so calm

  • i really wished the game came out here in EU

  • @wndrmike you can still play chrono cross or any other games on ps1 on your pc via epsxe (psx emulator)

  • @wndrmike its out i just bought it yesterday buddy

  • @sephirothvalentine12 *faints* i'm sooooo getting it.

  • I really wish I had my older systems and games again...

  • These pieces give me the shivers! They say music lives on, right?

  • really, when I played this game before, I like just the soundtrack of the fight against the bosses, but now that I'm older, I realize the preciousness of this game soundtrack that had nothing to envy to this game to fans of ff7

    :fuckyea:

  • Chrono Cross...The BEST RPG ever!

  • @wgfdhsgfhhdjf Obviously you haven't played Chrono Trigger.

  • @ipsilont7 i have played Chrono Trigger and it is a great game no doubt about it! I just prefer Chrono Cross

  • @ipsilont7 I personally don't like to compare Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. They were both games with well designed and original gameplay, distinct and memorable aesthetics, charming characters/story, and amazing music. They were just radically different in how they achieved each of those descriptions. I'm glad that instead of just producing a derivative sequel to CT they expanded on the original's universe in a manner that was as revolutionary as the original itself.

  • @rcarlson1993 We really can't thumb this comment up enough. I wish more people were like you.

  • @rcarlson1993

Though from what I've heard, including the humans are assholes plot point in Cross was a mistake.

  • Love it... i cry every time i her this song.... so many good memories =')

  • Square/Squaresoft/Square Enix has come up with so man incredible games over the years. To think that Square started it all with the Final Fantasy series that turned into the phenomenon that it is today. Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are right there in the middle of that amazing library of games that Square has created.

  • i love chrono cross!

  • what is the name of this music but the music box version appear after the credits of the game? thanks!

  • @MoliYabuki Fragment of a Dream

  • @DaDushbag thanks!

  • Definitely one of the best sequels ever! Still a good ass game even 10 years later! Every time is a new experience especially when the cast of characters is so diverse one of the best soundtracks in gaming history EVER!!!

  • @cargonator I totally agree on both counts. Some of my favorite music comes from video games, especially from Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu. Truly beautiful music.

  • one of the most epic songs in gaming history

  • So....damn....beautiful...
