i believe that if chris farley hadnt died it would be him instead of kevin james in this movie. kevin james is hilarious, but i still believe that if chris hadn't died that night it would be him being interviewed in kevins place. R.I.P chris farley. :( :( :(
@MrJoseCallo He average's more than 100 million dollars alone on comedy movies. Grown Ups in particular outgrossed Toy Story 3 in dvd sales. Every movie that he has made that are considered drama's have been flops box-office wise. I love Adam Sandler I love everything he does. Regardless of your opinion on the quality of his art. Focussing on drama's instead of comedies. Would be a disastrous career choice. Looking directly at the numbers.
@nico44ever "Looking directly at the numbers", I would agree. "Looking directly at the numbers" is the reason we have to endure sh*tty content every year. Sandler is talented, don't care about "Looking directly at the numbers". Many Oscar winning performances and productions were box-office flops. Sandler is talented it's a shame to see him CHOOSE to waste it for "$", he doesn't need any more. ie.) Funny People, Spanglish, Punch Drunk Love
@MrJoseCallo So you would want him to take a career dive and lose his reputation of him being one of the highest paid actors working today so that he can focus on unprofitable movies. As incredibly idealistic that is. It's not realistic and it would be foolish on his part. Look he has to do what audiences want him to do. Were talking about the movies here. Like any industry it's a business. Adam Sandler has maintained his audience since the early 90's. Thats two decades. Who else can do that?
@nico44ever - I understand what you're saying, however, that is not a counterpoint to my argument. I'm not speaking to financials, box office success, or what the majority of his audience demands. I'm asking why as an artist he chooses to do the same dog & pony show over and over again. He has the talent to push himself and his art of acting. He's proven it in his "unsuccessful" films, which I'm arguing are actually his greatest accomplishments as an artist.

this is the worst movie each of these actors have done! a waste of time. sandler needs to leave comedy behind, he's great in serious roles.
