@blinx503 and too few "O"'s? ;-) Yes, maybe a SNES final fantasy episode. This machine does have some "chiptune" sounds. You can add to it a lot with FX like a KAOSS Pad Mini ( as after 6:06 )

Monome's Mlr (and such apps) are similar to Ableton live

(though you can program it to do many various control functions on a laptop.)

Tenori is much more like a stand alone Electribe / Kaossilaor with 16 rows.

@ThaJSpraya - Well, I've played them both, as you see, so I can say - it's like 1/16th of a Tenori On, at 1/20th the price ;-) though you won't usually use every layer of it.
