For all those bashing on the lyrics. What I don't seem to get, is that no-one seems to get, that this is all just a giant metaphor. The Lyrics aren't made to be taken literally. My Gawsh. Just put it into metaphorical terms and the meaning of it is EASY to figure out.

This just isn't a "Gaga" type of song. It's a Brittney song. But, by logic, it's still kick ass 'cuz Gaga's a part of it. My least favorite, though. Brittney shoulda sang it. lol <3Monster
this song is awful. the sad thing is that these artists have the potential to be very good, these lyrics just suck. the technical aspect of the song was interesting. the transition from the guitar/harp thing to the electronic beat was really cool. but its not about anything, its not even a break up song, its just about not wanting to answer your phone. this could easily have been better if she gave a reason why she doesnt want to answer the phone. for example saying its an ex whos calling.
@lesleyburt the song clearly states that she just wants to party and not answer her phone. i mean i guess if you look reallllly super close it could be about escaping life with partying and drinking. but the bridge pretty much ruins that idea. i like tune, the editing, and the transition from the beginning to techno, im just saying it could be much better if the lyrics changed. i feel like lady gaga is one of the few people on the radio that deserves the fame she has but i cant stand this song.
does it have to be about love or breaking up? i duno about everyone else but im tierd of those types of songs, whats wrong with a new outstretch, lots of people love songs because of the beat even tho the lyrics SUCK like take millionaires there music has no point but the beat makes me happy so so what if it means nothing? saying if you really look into it, not just about phones, maybe she doesnt want anymore drama, wants to get away? you need to look at things with a different view sometimes =]

All of GaGa's songs have different interpretations and Lady GaGa deserves all this fame because she's true, unique, and hardworking.
