So Im not deaf... all of them are great but both (Stacy and Melanie) have some pitch problems BOTH! that high note on Melanie's song wasn't quite right but can that girl sing! Stacy has the range that's to die for, so good but I agree that she oversings and that makes it sound pitchy and off, to me Stacy wins due to the fact that she has the experience and a best range.

I only like Stacey when she was in the bottom two, so Astro would have gone home. I never liked her because she exaggerates way too much, screams, and her voice is so weird. No comparison. Stacy over-dramatizes and is pitchy, pitchy, pitchy. She has a hard time hitting the right note more times than not...Melanie has such potential and perfect pitch. That you cannot teach.

Melanie Amaro is a great singing (sometimes slight pitch problems)... but Stacy Francis has much more depth and experience in her voice. Stacy Francis has actually been thru more than any of us can imagine: beaten into the ground by her husband, kicked around by her last boyfriend and dealing with the very recent death of her father. She isn't just singing a song... she is testifying that despite everything she has been thru... she is still standing.

But if you want to split hairs, I'll split it even further. It may be true that there aren't 300 people in the US who sing as well as she does, but where is the proof of that? How would we know? Maybe there are 300 excellent voices out there who haven't tried out for X Factor or American Idol. What we do know is that Melanie deserves to win.

I vote for stacy, I like vocalists that do that and she also puts a smile on my face like no other vocalist has done, so I'm going for her and so what if she doesn't make it I was kind of bummed out that pia from american idol didn't make it all the way to the finals. But since she was on it I liked the show it was worth watching and same goes for stacy. I hope she makes it as far as pia did. :)

Melanie is not at the top of her game... she is 18 and hasnt been thru nothing. Stacy is 43 and has been thru more than the average person could handle. Stacy has talent but she has no real vocal range...She just screams it. She mask the lack of range by altering the harmony in respect to the song. Melanie, on the other hand, has a very disciplined vocal range and easily flows with the harmony.

Stacy needs some work I think she will grow if given the chance. She has the voice. If she work with dynamics of the songs she's doing, she 'll do well. I love her spirit. The song she sung for her father was totally on point. I wish her the best. Now Melanie is on point most of the time. Melanie has my VOTE she has better control you need to know how to control your voice that breeds consistency. Melanie is most consistent. My favorite in girl's category is Melanie, Drew , Rachel and Jazzlyn

Stacy had a better audition for sure, but Melanie is more consistent. Both are amazing. But Stacy really perfected that one audition. She has the range, but she's gotten worse as auditions have progressed. Others like Tiah seem to get better. She's great, but she's gonna have to be on top of her game if she wants to win. My favs are probably Marcus Canty and Chris Rene.
