  • The tornado was pissed at all the bailouts.

  • death to the banks!

  • I would be scared If I was in there by myself

  • @MrShy125 You'd also likely be dead if you'd been in there.

  • @HaseosAtoli Well would it have been worse if I was on the bottom floor?

  • @HaseosAtoli It's difficult to imagine anything, basement or whatever, surviving an EF-5. O.O

  • money was flying through the air

  • To me it almost looked like the first camera tried to run

  • This bank looks like it was made out of recycled paper!! Paper mache? Egg cartons? Bread boxes? Good thing no one leaned their bicycle against the wall it probably would have fallen through!! What happened to intelligent design? Uhhhh.....what does that mean? Uhh??

  • So scary!

  • Parkersburg: full of ignorant snots who love the media attention they always get then throw tamperers when they attention stops.

  • The tornado was denied a loan

  • holy crap look how dark it got outside

  • Thank goodness no one was at the bank, at the time the tornado touchdown.

  • That is some of the most dramatic video I have ever seen...Thanks for posting!

  • That sucks

  • @DimeBagPlz Tornadoes are generally bullheaded and arrogant, taking away from their receptive sensibilities. So, he probably wouldn't listen!

  • The tornado was only upset the bank was closed as it wished to make a deposit.

  • maybe it was a Wellsfargo bank...they're known for screwing people in the pocket book.

  • the houses in America are not strong, that's a fact. while here in the Netherlands are all houses of concrete, while never a tornado or something else

  • @LovesAmericaCA1996

This tornado was an EF5, the strongest and rares category. If one of your concrete houses was hit by the full force this storm it would be completely destroyed.

In this case the worst of the tornado missed and the bank was mostly left standing, though a few of the brick wall collapsed.

  • thats a so called "bad bank"

  • thats a big bank well was a big bank lol

  • Hope they find their money!!

  • i know SOMEONE is gonna have one heck of a time re organizing those papers xD lol jkjk that IS really scary tho

  • I wonder if it would have been safe to hide in the vault?

  • no, cuz what if u was in the vault and thron in a body of water...like a big pond or something...that would suck

  • That would be unlikely. A vault would be a pretty safe place to take shelter.

  • that vault was fine..(I drove by it everyday on my way to lifting and speed training for football)

  • did it break down the wall or just some windows?

  • From what I hear the bank was destroyed. But you can't see much past a few seconds

  • That was an EF5, the whole building was prolly leveled...

  • OMG!!

  • u can see the eye of the tornado outside the window in all of em, it goes yellow and shiny for a second and then ur dead

  • Wow. It looks like an explosion goes off outside the window. I suppose that's electric lines?

  • cool I just saw this a few minutes ago on Destroyed in Seconds on the Discovery channel. It was the same bank.

  • No this is real i just saw this on tru tvs most shocking its real

  • AAAAAAH!

    :O

  • dumbass, this was on the news, then again u prob never watch the news

  • DAYUM!

  • i live in ANKENY! AND the sirens went off when this happend but we had no tornado.:)

  • Try living on Oklahoma. I am 26 and i have had the sirens go off around 150 times and i still have never seen a tornado. I want to see one!

  • if i lived in oklahoma i would probably pray for a tornado too

  • You are a jackass.

  • on the contrary, i am a human who hopes you get your wish.

  • You are sooooo funny. I know it sucks to live in a state that doesn't even know there is a recession. Where are you from?

  • you are probably one of the lucky ones as far as the recession goes, but i doubt you can speak for the whole state.

i live just outside atlanta and had a tornado skip over the house i was in and hit the 2 on either side back in '98. i hear the sirens quite often myself.

  • Look outside the window. I saw one when i was a child in Sawn Paulo. That meked me like these things

  • That's pretty cool.

Looks like a ghost scene in the last shot.

  • Waw , almost as amazing as the tornado that throws with cars.Cool footage.

  • mama mia... move to another location. Its not possible to live in such lands...

  • oh shit!

  • Wow crazy!! My close friend was hit by that very same tornado. She was going to (and did) get married that next week. They thought they had lost all the bridesmaid's dresses, and her wedding dress, but they found them all. :)

  • wow that was cool luckily i live in mcminnville tennessee were tornados are rarly seen i had one come down my rode and i was in the ditch scared to death to

  • wow it explodes at 00.12

  • @Houston4444 what the hell was that that exploded like that?

  • @kacausa obviously the windows broke

  • wooowwowow amazing video..

  • incredible its amazing that the camera is still recording

  • i live in the midwest and we have to go to the basement almost every other night

  • I know the feeling. Seems like we are spending more time in our basement lately than in any other part of the house. By the way, I love your user name. XD!!

  • thanks

  • That's the biggest reason I'd never live in the Midwest. Here in New England, we have all 4 seaosns, hurricanes rarely come up this way. Tornadoes are rare, thank goodness.

  • in a 2 year time span... 2 f5 tornadoes hit the nation (kansas and iowa).

this piece of footage is an example of why i dont want to live in Oklahoma, Kansas, North Texas, Nebreska, and Iowa. Too many viloent Tornadoes. Im happy to live in a state (Arkansas) were Viloent Tornadoes are rare, but weak tornadoes and F-2 Twisters are quite common (especailly winter and spring).

  • It's actually very unlikely that you will ever be hit by a tornado, even in Iowa. Something like 1 in 3 million, I think.

  • you forgot to mention Florida,..saw 2 in summer 2005,and one in 2007, one killed 4 people in Brandon,.

But these storms are just amazing, even tough they scare me a little,.

  • i live in north texas and we havent had a significant tornado in years. a few small ones, but they caused very little damage.

  • That piece of footage shows what mother nature can do.

  • WOW that is incredible. Great Vid!!!!!
