WOW! Absolutely beautiful! Considering this was so late in Menuhin's career, he's in brilliant form here. The whole concerto is just so EPIC.

Another remarked recording of menuhin to this concerto is his recording with Otto Klemperer in 1966 a real treasure . But as for me I prefer this one to the other

The great Violinist sstill have all the power and sympathy to capture the demands of this Concerto . Menuhin recorded so many times this Concerto this version is second only to his legendary recording with Furtwangler and BPO.
