  • after market powder coated black drag bars

  • What handlebars do you have on this?

  • Hey buddy, no the Iron doesn't come with a fuel gauge so I put one on it.Most of my parts are genuine Harley parts but with the exchange rate good in my Country Harley parts are more affordable but I know what your saying.

  • d. And plus where did you buy your accessories other than the Harley website, cause I think they over price their accessories too much.

  • Brother I heard this doesn't come with fuel gauge. How will you know if you need to put a gas? That would be suck to stuck in a dead place without gas station aroun.

  • Yeah speedo relocation is a Auto meter bracket attached to the tank bolt and a fishboy barclamp. LED is a Harley genuine part, good to have if your going on long rides so you don't have to check your KM's or fuel in tank. You need to move around some cables but it's all done within an hour. I'm actually changing this and going for the RSD speedo relocator. Just waiting for the part to be shipped.

  • Speedo relocation looks great. Is that the Joker kit or something else? I didn't think you could put the LEDs on top like that. Also, what kind of master cylinder is that?

  • @RATMC12 ahh just saw it's a fishboy...any splicing required for that particular mod?

  • both pipes sound awesome so it's a win win for you but make sure you get a good air filter to match so your engine breaths better.

  • looking to buy this bike, trying to decide between V&H or Bassani sweeper exhaust .. different sound, both amazing

  • Cheers mate, believe me when I first bought this there weren't that many Irons in Melbourne and every man and his dog even blokes with HOGS were asking what it was? It definitely has a wow factor about it and the note on it is better then my mates fatboys & softails.

  • Fair enough :) tho tbh when I'm checking out bikes I'm certainly finding that I compare them to this one and how close they are. Well safe riding friend. Beautiful bike.

  • Hey mate, thanks for the compliment on the bike. The chrome tips are the original V&H pipes, the matt black heat shields just wrap around them and believe they keep the heat away. I don't mind it with the chrome tips as I didn't want to go too black the chrome gives it contrast. Your right about the bullet style headlight, thought about it and it's maybe in the pipe works. I've had a few people ask if I wanted to sell it but it's brand new, I haven't even clocked 2& half clicks on it yet.

  • I've watched your two vids quite a few times now heh. Absolutely exactly how I would have my iron, cept I'd have the chrome tips on the sideshots taken out and a maybe... Maybe the headlight changed to a bullet style, farout tho bro. That is the sexiest, not too far from stock, Harley Davidson Iron 883 I've ever seen!!

So wanna sell it to me? :) :)

  • Hey dude, I don't know the rev's @ 100 to 140kph as the Sporties only have a speedometer , there's no tacho. I would just jump on the net and compare the 2010 & 2011 specs side by side.

  • Hey mate

    Love the bike

Just wondering cant you tell me what revs does it get to if youre doing 100 to 140kph on the bike?

apparently 2010 and 2011 model iron 883 has a different gear ratio.

Thingking of get one just doing some homework.

    thanks again

  • Being 5ft 7 is fine, you'll be able to ride the bike easy. the bike comes standard with mid-mount controls. For someone 6ft and over I would go for the Nightrod special or the VROD muscle.

  • Also is it small

  • Is this a good bike for me im 5'7 and have alot of riding experience

  • Yeah had to get new cables because of what you were experiencing. In regards to cables inside the forks, there's no problems with it. Rides sweet.

  • did you have to get new cables or brake lines with the drag bars.. i put a set of 28 in ones on my bike and it looked like the brake line to the resevoir was getting pinched. also i noticed it looks like you move the other lines and cables to inside the forks. does that give you any problems

  • Drag bars are 28 inches, very comfortable and easy to ride.

  • What size is that DRAG BAR?

    I like it. AAA++

  • Cheers.

There's a few things that you need to do to relocate the speedo, takes a little under 1 hour. Speedo is original but the bracket is from auto meter which is bolted to the gas tank mount, the bar clamp is a fishboy one I got off ebay. The iron is a good bike and gets looks everywhere I ride.

  • hey mate like the bike very muchly:)

How did u pull the speedo dash? are the original speedo dash and bar clamps all in one piece?

I have an 08 cbr1000rr thinking about trading it in for the iron 883.

    love yor bike

  • would you say the rsd tracker or the sideshots sound better??

  • Thanks mate, the side shots just flow really nice with the whole bike. The sideshots are loud, I ride with guys who have fatboy's,softail & night rod and my bike is more louder. With baffles the bike is still loud.

  • One of the best looking Iron's I have ever seen. Really like the look off the sideshots. Want to do a stage one conversion and I'm hearing that the sideshots are way too loud... Is there a big difference with the quite baffles in ? Thanks for the advice.

  • Video just doesn't do these pipes justice.Everyone who sees the bike always comments about the heavy breather. I think you should keep what you have. You have done so many mods on your bike.
