  • I cry every time i hear this song! I'm just so inlove wit this song!! God never fails, If HE wants you he'll try and try and try until he gets you into his arms!

  • if you're blessed thumbs up!

  • Its basically saying that salvation in pouring out when we're in worship "on our knees"

  • One day i'll find that someone that is as perfect as our god!(:♥

  • This song is beautiful. My only problem with the lyrics is the 2nd line. "Working salvation out on my knees" - I don't find that edifying to believers or unbelievers. But the rest of it is powerful, and Spirit-led.

  • @talliza what happened to you that made you hate God so much? God loves you no matter what you think.

  • @brown1004 What happened to you that you can`t figure a non-believer without hate. Believers see hate everywhere there is dissent. Would you mind telling me what comment of mine, made you make such a silly presumption

  • @tallliza so what do you call it talliza? dissent is me speaking my mind and you replying with a different opinion. you, however, spend HOURS on youtube pages where usually only christians hang around, and intentionally try to bring down what people believe. what do you call that? tell me.

say i chase you around everywhere you go, putting down everything you doand calling into question your every thought. what would you call that? cause that's what you do.

  • God?, oh, you mean that imaginary guy from that fairy tale TROLLOLOLOLLOL

  • Their best song.

  • we play this song at our church in our youthgroup! it's such a cool song!!! :DDDDDDD

  • Four common sense reasons why I think there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

  • @tallliza PSALMS 14:1 THE FOOL HATH SAID IN HIS HEART, THERE IS NO GOD. THEY ARE CORRUPT,.....

  • @HaRdzstylerR The bible also says; He who calls another a fool, is in danger of hellfire.

  • @tallliza First I didnt call him FOOL, God did. Second God called him FOOL for a reason. MATT.5:22 BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT WHOSOEVER IS ANGRY WITH HIS BROTHER WITHOUT A CAUSE....which means with out a reason. Read your bible with understanding, BABY. And you are FOOL for not reading the Bible with understanding, there is my reason to call you a FOOL.

  • @HaRdzstylerR First I didnt call him FOOL, God did--

Then god is in danger of hellfire. The bible says so.

  • @tallliza Well, Jesus called Pharisees FOOLS; MATTHEW 23:17YE FOOLS AND BLIND;...V.19YE FOOLS AND BLIND;...He called them for a reason. And you are FOOL and BLIND for not seeing it.

  • @HaRdzstylerR Then all I can say is , that according to the bible. Jesus is in danger of hellfire.

  • @tallliza You an idiot !!! Go away, dumb FOOL.

  • @HaRdzstylerR Same to you , dumb fool !!

  • @tallliza Now you going to Hell for calling me fool for no reason.

  • @HaRdzstylerR I don`t believe in hell. You do.

  • @tallliza MATT.5:22 ...THOU FOOL,SHALL BE IN DANGER OF HELL FIRE.You quoting this verse to me, now it fell back on you, and you dont believe in Hell. You must be on drugs.

  • @HaRdzstylerR ; Do you have a problem with logic, you fool ??

  • @tallliza According to the Bible, Jesus is the only Judge. You see, we can't call others fools because we ourselves are, and it would be hypocrisy.

  • @HaRdzstylerR first off, Jesus calls us not to call others fool because we ourselves are fools. You are displaying a manner not worthy of Christ's name. He calls us to love, not to hate and send inflammatory messages.

  • @tallliza Common sense seems...absent from your points. Just saying. You say that there is an absolute absence of favoritism toward believers, and yet you also say that there is no reaction when crime is commited in His name. That is a contradiction. God punishes those who sin "in His name" which is just. Saying "i believe in Christ" isn't a magic spell to let us do anything we want and get away with it.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Beating around the bush, because you know damn well you have no answer.... why your god makes, or allows.... the INNOCENT SUFFER... Ther might be a god, but a loving caring, compassionate just, god cannot exist. The facts on earth contradict such a notion, unless god`s attributes, goodness, love etc, have no human aspect. If your father acted like your god, he would be in jail with a life-sentence.

  • @tallliza Hey, hey, no need to be rude. Look, nobody is innocent. We've all done mean things to each other. Just look at society around you. You just need...perspective. The wages of sin is death. We can't attain eternal life by ourselves. No one deserved it. But because God loved us so much, He sacrificed Hiself, gave up all the riches of heaven to be born as a carpenter and to die on the cross, just so that we might have a chance at eternal life. If my father did that, I'd be proud.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Would you remind me what crime those 100.000 little children in Haiti committed to deserve perishing under the rubble ? If your father could save 100.000 innocent children without any detriment ot himself, and he looked the other way, would you be proud ?

  • @tallliza Well, now you see, there's a reason God doesn't act in today's world much. It's cuz we don't want Him in our lives. Yes, I agree that all those deaths by natural disaster are just plain horrible, but the thing is, this world has been decaying ever since the beginning, because it is flawed. It is my personal belief that those children are now in a better place. But remember, there are many deaths caused by humans too that are avoidable. Mankind really messes up nature.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 . It is my personal belief that those children are now in a better place. ... I do hope that this loving, heavenly father takes your loved ones, after all, they will be... in a better place... !! If I understand you correctly, earthquakes tsunamis and other desastres happen because ..we don`t want god in our lives... How silly !!

  • @tallliza It's no sillier than believing that God causes these disasters in the first place. Read the Bible. A whole bunch of stuff happened to the Israelites because they basically trashed God

  • @Coolaid9876543210 But remember, there are many deaths caused by humans too that are avoidable..

. Are you trying to justify one crime with another ? Because mankind commits crimes, god goes scot-free ?

  • @tallliza no. no i'm not. I just ran out of room to explain entirely. And besides, some of my loved ones just happen to already be in a better place, thank you very much. Cancer and all, you know.

You know, it's sometimes not possible for one to discern why God does things. Why there are stillborn babies, why there are infant deaths.

  • @tallliza But God has a plan that we cannot see, much like parents have a plan that their 5-year old child can't see because he thinks that his parents don't love him for not buying him a new game or grounding him. God never does things without reason. It's just we don't always know the reason.

If you want to see this as just some big, long-winded excuse, go ahead. But God has a plan for you too, and He won't stop loving you even if you hate his guts.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 That is indeed a long-winded excuse. He has a plan, but nobody knows it.. He wants us the execute his plan, but it is hidden from us. Makes no sense at all.

  • @tallliza Rather. But we do see small portions of the master plan at work. Like, for example, looking at the Great Wall of China. We can't see the whole thing at a glance. But if we follow the tour guide and reach the end, we'll finally understand. Course, I don't expect you to believe me. But i'll leave you with an apology for that random troll dude and this: It has often been said that a person really does not know either side of a question until he knows both sides.

  • @tallliza it is not hidden from us. he left a whole book telling us everything we need to know. but faith in jesus is the key to that plan being revealed to you. everyone's eyes are closed until jesus opens them and i am saying this having been where you are now.. my eyes were closed and no argument could convince me that God was real. but once I believed, my eyes were opened, and God showed me his very real presence. so i know no one's going to convince you, but you know what God says? "Try me"

  • @murielglass You have an amazing testimony. Can I ask a favor? Since God told us to love our enemies and pray for those who mock us, would you mind praying with me for tallliza? Only God can stir the hearts of men in such a fashion, and though God has given man free will, there is yet a chance that this heart can be made new.

  • @tallliza "Try me" , take the leap of faith, worst thing that can happen is you find out you were right all along and God is just an illusive ideal.

  • @murielglass I have no doubt that god is just an illusive ideal.

  • @tallliza are you very sure of that? i wonder why a person who is very sure that He is an illusion would spend all this time and effort talking about Him :) a man named Saul was very energetic in bringing down the gospel of Jesus. not just debating on youtube, actually killing christians... then Jesus came to him and eventually he ended up writing about 1/3 of the bible :) the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. if you want nothing to do with God, lemme say youre dangerously close :)

  • @murielglass Well, my friend, I am waiting. Paul wrote letters to the christian communities. He didn`t write the bible. The bible, as far as I know, is the Old-Testament and the New-testament.

  • @tallliza Paul wrote most of the New-testament. Just thought you'd like to know

  • @Coolaid9876543210 ; You don`t seem to have a clue, who wrote what.

  • @tallliza Jesus said "I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn't listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.' (john 10:7-10 from the message)

  • @murielglass Jesus did not keep his promises here on earth. His promises for the afterlife are therefore worthless too.

  • @tallliza For example? Please don't make claims against something unless you know what exactly it is you are talking about. A wise man once said, "One does not know either side of an argument untill he knows both sides."

  • @Coolaid9876543210 He said he would return before the generation he lived in died-out. Did he ? He said... Ask anything in my name and the father will give it to you... In 1939, the whole christian world was praying litterally, day and night, for peace , in Jesus name. What did we get ? 60 million corpses. He said... his followers would handle poisonous snakes and not be harmed.,.. Try it and see what happens. You will be dead.

  • @tallliza First of all, you gotta take things in context. The word used for generation also means race. see that little footnote at the bottom? also, it is written, "If we ask according to His will." Who started the World War? was it God? no, it was humans who didn't know God's love. Should God clean up for you all the time? And the last point is a point of Apostolic succession. He was talking about the original apostles. And it did happen with Paul, there were eyewitnesses

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Of course, the eternal scapegoat.. OUT OF CONTEXT. If we ask ...according to his will

might be in one of his mutlple statements . But you have nothing to claim that this.. according to his will... is to be understood in all these verses. That`s YOUR personal interpretation, Which is as good or as bad as any other interpretation. You surely have a lot of imagination.

  • @tallliza I don't get you. You are being contradictory. You say that it might be in his multiple sayings, but that it's my own interpretation. How can it be my own interpretation if he says it? and again, where do you get the absence of a footnote? like i said, the footnote is right there. Therefore, again, your argument is invalid

  • @Coolaid9876543210 . Do you really believe god wrote a footnote ?; I will do more research and report accordingly. In the meantime, you cannot claim that god will grant something only... if it is in acordance with his will.. simply because this condition appears in ONE of several verses. Therefore again your argument is invalid.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 I checked the 10 bible texts that tell about god giving in Jesus name. Only ONE text says... he will give it if what is asked is... in accordance with his will.. With what authority do you claim that....if in according to his will... is applicable to the nine other texts ?

  • @tallliza Because Jesus' own disciples interpreted it that way. It was they that knew Jesus the most, and therefore would have the authority to tell us what He meant. If you look, many times, Jesus was telling THEM that He would give THEM whatever they ask. Another simple example: say i want a pony. I decide to fast for 3 days in supplication. Will God give me something so meaningless?

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Another simple example: say i want a pony. Will God give me something so meaningless? He said.. ask ANYTHING in my name and the father will give it to you.... Yes the pony is included If not, he should have phrased his promise differently

  • @tallliza You need to read into things. God is described as a God of order, not chaos. If everything everyone asked for came true, there would be contradictions. It is later written in the Bible that we must ask according to God's will because He's the one with the plan. Now if I told someone i'd give them what they ask for and they ask me to kill off everyone i met for the next three weeks, i wouldn't do it cuz it's messed up and clearly against what I had planned.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 If everything everyone asked for came true.. You are besides the point. Did he or did he not say, ...Ask anything in my name and the father will give it to you... Well in 1939, before the second world war , the whole christian world was begging, praying for peace.`(we didn`t ask for a pony) We got 60 million dead. Maybe WAR was in god``s plan Maybe peace was not according to his will . I Wouln`t be surprised given his reputation in the O.T.

  • @tallliza Actually, God's the same in the OT and NT. A professor once explained that. It's just that we often focus too much on Christ being forgiving no matter what you do. However, the professor pointed out that Christ did things like kick the merchants out of the temple and call the pharisees a brood of vipers. He also said He came to bring the sword. On the other hand, God in the OT would often care for his people and deliver them when they needed him. As is evident in psalms&prophets

  • @Coolaid9876543210 On the other hand, God in the OT would often care for his people and deliver them when they needed him. Of course, One exemple of godly deliverance.

(Deuteronomy 20:10-14) When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you

  • @tallliza You consider that wrong because you consider the victims innocent. how innocent are people who toss their babies into bonfires?

  • @Coolaid9876543210 You consider that wrong because you consider the victims innocent. Even if they burned the whole world down, it is still wrong. Burn your bible. It`s screwing your sense of love and justice.

  • @tallliza First, i thought i asked for replies without sarcasm. If you cannot debate in a civilized manner, you are not qualified to debate at all. Second, what i'm getting from you is that it's perfectly fine to murder little children, but it's wrong to pass the sentence on them. I think the one with a screwed sense of justice is you.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 and call the pharisees a brood of vipers.. ...An angry god cannot be a god. Definition of anger= , A strong feeling of displeasure and belligerence aroused by a wrong.. Belligerence can hardly be called godly now, can it ? It can not be reconciled with his other statements like... Loving your enemies.. etc.

  • @tallliza Yes it can. What is the definition of "just"? If God is just, then wrongdoing will offend Him. Therefore, God has a right to be angry at the misdeeds of people. If someone was beating someone else up, would you not be angry? that is the type of anger that God has. When people get trampled on, God is watching, and He'll be angry if He wants, regardless of how you think.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Yes it can.. With the bible as your guide, you can reconcile mass-murder with love. Only in the bible is that possible. What a devine book. It should be burned instead of the quran

  • @tallliza Oh, by the way, the Quran isn't any better. notice all the terrorism being committed today. work of Muslim extremists, not christians. Get your information straight, will you? Seriously, it's the Quran that says it's perfectly fine to kill people who aren't muslim. The bible doesn't say we should kill those who aren't Christian.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 READ the OT my friend it says the same thing.

  • @tallliza For your information, I have read the entire bible, front to back, and the OT multiple times. And FYI again, Judaism and Christianity are 2 diff. things. Also, like i've been trying to explain to you this entire time, God chose to kill the caananites because they were killing infants. You said there shouldn't be punishment for that. THAT is why i get from you that it is perfectly fine to murder children.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 God chose to kill the caananites because they were killing infants. You said there shouldn't be punishment for that.. That is the second time ,you put words in my mouth I never said. Do you have all your marbles man ?

  • @tallliza Do you have all yours? "Even if they burned the whole world down, it is still wrong"

so there you have it. you said it's wrong to punish that. And just how does anything show my lack of education? If anything, this shows yours because you have failed to support your claims. Dueling was an acceptable way to regain honor. US presidents engaged in it. The one who's lack of education is evident is yours.

  • @tallliza And another thing: who appointed you judge of all things? Let's pretend for a moment that in the vast portions of the universe that we do not comprehend that there is a God. Now following along with the hypothesis, if God created the world, wouldn't He know better than anyone what is right and wrong? Stay with me here. And if He saw people doing wrong, wouldn't it be His position as God to be the Judge and pass sentence?

Now please think over this, and don't be closeminde, plz

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Murder, mass-murder, rape, slavery is not acceptable, not in the bible nor anywhere else. Not even from a god( who is supposed to be loving ).

  • @tallliza i don't see the bible promoting rape. do you? please quote. And in the culture back then, it was generally acceptable to own slaves. again, friend, in context. The bible promotes treating slaves fairly, unlike some other cultures at the time. Murder and killing for a very good reason is different. For example, back a few decades ago, dueling to the death was acceptable, and not called murder.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 i don't see the bible promoting rape. do you? Yes I do. And if you don`t, you don`t know your bible, It is much too long for Youtube restrictions. With your permission I will send you a few exempoles if rape in the bible.. The culture back then... ??? You can come up with such an argument in an history book, but not in what is supposed to be god`s word. Slavery in the bible is worse than in the 18th century. ... ...

  • @tallliza Nowhere in the bible does it promote rape. I believe i know my bible more than you. show me any verse that promotes rape. If you can't, then you have no idea what you are talking about. And you also show no evidence at all that slavery was worse. I can disprove that with logic alone. The Israelites were slaves themselves once. That being the case, it is logical that they were commanded to treat all slaves fairly. the bible even sets times to set slaves free completely.

  • @tallliza In the course of this debate, you have shown much hostility, and your insults to me and all others are plenty. Please realize that insults are not a substitute for evidence, of which you lack. I sincerely doubt you know the bible more than me. In fact, i will disprove your point. In many of Paul's letters, he admonishes sexual immorality. Again, in the social responsibilities part of OT they tell people NOT to rape. Where do you get your point from? Verse, please.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Would you mind reading your bible , my friend. Go I really have to put your nose in the mostard. Of course if I send you a few pages of text your will scream.. OUT OF CONTEXT... or you will embellish the text to make it fit what you like to believe, Paul letters are just homilies, send to the christian communities ,and have no more credibility or value, as your sunday pastors homily

  • @tallliza Paul was one of the most respected theologians of all time. And may I remind you, there is a reason more scholarly men than you have decided to include Paul's letters in the Bible. And i sincerely think that you are using "you will scream out of context" as an excuse for not knowing the bible. I have read the Bible, front to back. and the OT multiple times. I think I qualify as having read the bible, thank you.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 You can put anything in the bible if you want. If you have any logic, because he was the first missionay, his words have no more validity as those of any preacher. I shall not reveal how long and in what institute, or for what purpose, I studied the bible. That is none of anybody`s business.

  • @tallliza Paul's letters are not referred to as homilies, but as apologetics. Some courses in college have students read Romans because Paul uses amazing logic. Paul spent his entire life studying Scripture, otherwise known as the OT. He memorized most of it. I think he has WAY more credibility than you. tell me, have YOU read the bible?

  • @Coolaid9876543210 ; I don`t care what you call it . That logic is all fine with me. The fact is it an instruction to the christian communities, just like your sunday homily. He used letters, because the communities were far apart and transportation not easy. What paul spend his entire life with is pure speculation. Tell me have YOU read the bible ? I really don`t think so, unless you have a totally different one.

  • @tallliza HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THE SAME THING??? Let me make it clear to you. I. Have. Read. The. Entire. Bible. Already. And. The. OLD. TESTAMENT. Multiple. Times.

I have seriously said that like 5 times already. Why are you still asking me if I have read the bible?

  • @Coolaid9876543210 Why are you still asking me if I have read the bible? Because YOU ask me !!

  • @tallliza Because you haven't answered me yet...

  • @Coolaid9876543210 I answered you, silly, But you want details, why ?

  • @Coolaid9876543210 . Murder and killing for a very good reason is different... Murder is murder. period. That`s why most civilized contries are against capital punishment. You cannot argue that custons and attitudes change and apply that to the bible. Because the bible cannot cotain other values and morals than UNIVERSAL ones. Valid from the beginning of time to the end and in all places.

  • @tallliza Another thing. You may consider yourself exceedingly wise compared to others, but the fact is, no one can disprove you if you always respond "BULLSHIT" to other pieces of evidence. Also, the reason why things don't happen according to how we want is cuz of human nature. God gave us free will because He wanted us to live free. Man chose to do crap stuff, and God's not gonna force man to stop being harmful. He's gonna remind us, urge us, but never force.

  • @Coolaid9876543210 God gave us free will ... You can have free will, or you can have an omniscient god. Once the outcome of our actions is known beforehand, we are just puppets.

  • @tallliza my two cents, which i hope will help clear up the misunderstanding just a bit.... in a version of the bible called "the message", the translation of Jesus' words "what you ask in my name" is "what you ask along the lines of who I am"... i was always confused about those verses, until i stumbled upon that translation and it just made it all very clear. everything God does and "grants" is really about Him and His salvation plan for humanity. when you ask along the lines of THAT...

  • @murielglass but yeah... i guess that only makes sense for people who know who Jesus is.

  • @murielglass Isn`t it like Santa Claus, If you believe in him it makes sense, otherwise it doesn`t. ?

  • @tallliza not really. something happens when you believe. it's not some "i'ma-brainwash-myself" thingie. God actually sees your faith and reveals stuff to you that you would never see otherwise. he reveals Himself to you. and His word gradually begins to make sense, as you begin to walk in that faith. why do you think Jesus was always talking about faith? i'm not saying people who believe understand everything - we still don't. i still ask God tons of questions about what He left written.

  • @murielglass but faith is really just like being humble enough to realize it's not all about us and that the universe doesn't revolve around us and that we are creatures in need; to recognise we don't know everything and to accept, even if just for a second, that there might be something larger than us that we don't really know about. but maybe you have never felt that way. i know i've been there many many times. for a lot of people things need to crash down before they realize how small theyare

  • but that's what it all boils down to. you will never get anywhere quoting scripture you don't have the eyes to understand, or spending hours trying to argue someone down - neither will you remove God from His place, nor convince anyone of leaving the faith... we might not be clever enough to disprove your arguments, but we know what has been done in us and we know what we have seen and witnessed in our own lives, and all your effort is like weed on a field, one day it's there, the next it's gone

  • "It is hard for you to kick against the goads."

  • @murielglass Why would an omniscient god create a human being with brains ,and then ask him to forget this brain and accept as truth without reasoning. believing what is reasonably inpossible. Doesn`t make sense.

  • @talllizaaka saul of tarsus. paul was a thinker. not once in the bible does it say to stop thinking. i don't know where people get that crazy idea. again, au contraire! paul says to worship in the spirit AND with understanding. thing is, we need to submit our so-called "understanding" to God and receive new understanding, to think with a renewed mind, instead of conforming to the world's way of thinking (like you do). in all honesty, has your own undestanding gotten you very far?

  • @murielglass thing is, we need to submit our so-called "understanding" to God and receive new understanding.. That`s says it all... YOUR understanding has to be shelved. Forget about logic, and evidence.

  • @murielglass ). in all honesty, has your own undestanding gotten you very far? My own understanding keeps me alive every minute of the day. If id didn`t folow my understanding I would drink ans eat poison without KNOWING.

My understanding is as basic as life itself. and tries to discern between truth and fantasy.

  • @tallliza ahh, but life is so much more than not drinking poison. you do know that, right? where has it gotten YOU? it's not your understanding that keeps you alive every minute of the day. the God whom you are trying to argue down is the one who keeps you alive every minute of the day.

again, i ask you, why do you do this? get to the bottom of this. this isnt about words or context or having read a million books and knowing all about the worlds cultures. GOD isnt about words. GOD is personal.

  • @murielglass Nobody keeps me alive, but myself, and sometimes doctors and nurses. All else is pure speculation.

  • @tallliza just like you brought yourself into this world, and taught your cells to develop and grow. and you taught yourself to breathe and think. and you will protect yourself from accidents and deadly diseases. surely you're the one holding cars in place so that none of them run you over. yes. you keep yourself alive. (and we're the delusional ones?)

you still haven't answered my question. why do you do this? what's in your heart that makes you do this?

  • @murielglass ; If you have any evidence that there is a deity caring for me, please give it to me..What deity is keeping me and you alive ? Thor, El, Addonai, Elohim, Abba

Allah Jupiter, Pluto, Mercury, Saturn, Mithras Zeus, Apollo, Hermes, : Ra, Thoth, Osiris, Sobek, Set, Atun, Anubis, Horus,Brahmin . or one of the other THOUSANDS of gods througout history ?

  • @tallliza He gives Himself the name YWH, "I Am that I Am". but it's interesting you ask lots of questions but you are willing to accept none of the answers.

me and many others have given you evidence. our own lives are evidence and we are TELLING YOU God is real. but you are not accepting the evidence. i've told you - it's not about wisdom or understanding - that comes afterwards. it's about faith - humility. recognising that no, it's not you who keeps yourself alive.

  • @tallliza but you keep beating 'round the bush. going off on a tangent. you talk talk talk about God, but we don't talk about God, we experience God. and plenty of evidence of that has been given you. the thing is.. what are you gonna do about that evidence? i'm guessing you will go off on a tangent again, look at the outside, ask a totally irrelevant question or make a totally irrelevant comment. instead of looking at your own heart, where you're supposed to be looking. but i pray otherwise.

  • @tallliza why do you do this? i hope you at least answer that to yourself. or better yet, to God. He's listening, you know. to your every word and your every thought.

  • @murielglass Why don`t you try to answer my question. Which deity between the thousands in human history ? Oh sure, he is listening and he knows how many hairs there are on my skull., but if he exists, he doesn`t care about me. otherwise he would give me an irrefutable sign of his existence.

  • @tallliza I did answer your question: YHWH "I AM THAT I AM" that's His name. I know He's the only God there is, but if you need to hear it like that, then that's the one, YHWH.

you're quick to ask questions, quick at avoiding meaningful questions, and quick to dismiss answers.

you're the one who's not answering my question. i'll ask it again: why do you do this? and if you do this, why won't you accept answers? you want people to say what you want to hear, not real answers.

  • @murielglass I asked you... what crime was committed by those 100.000 children who perihes beneath the rubble of their houses in Haiti . Did you answer ? NO

Now tell me why your god is the right one, bewteen the thousands of gods in human history. Do you think they didn`t serve their god with the same fervor as you ? Do you really think they didn`t believe as firmly as you do, that they had the truth ? I do not accept anwers, only evidence.

  • @tallliza nope, you did not ask me that. that question is nowhere to be found, and it's irrelevant anyway. i've told you.

if you do not accept answers then it seems unbelievably ridiculous of you to be asking so many questions. and on youtube, of all places...................yeah, the unfallible logic of the almighty talliza would not fail to consider that youtube isn't the best place to be looking for evidence of God's existence.

    why do you do this?

  • @tallliza He's the true God because He's the only one who being God and king, voluntarily gave up His own life so that you and I could live, out of love. He's the only one who asks us to die in HIm so we can truly live. He's the only one who responds to faith by coming and living inside of His disciples through His Spirit.

  • @tallliza as for your other question, God is sovereign and He knows why things happen. hey i live in a city where dozens of people die every day from drug-related crimes. you dont think i ask myself that same question every day? but i don't hide myself in that question to claim that God is an illusion. it's the wrong question to be asking, you see. so start asking the RIGHT questions, if you're after truth.

and you can ask God Himself. God has all the answers, not us.

  • @murielglass and you can ask God Himself. God has all the answers, not us. I have been asking in vain ,for 60 years.

  • @tallliza then how come you can't concede that maybe this is God now answering? God doesn't answer what we want to hear, but what's there and what we NEED to hear. what we want and what we need are 2 very different things. many times in my life i have asked questions to God and gotten something odd in reply. it's never what i thought it would be or wanted it to be, but i eventually accept that God is wiser than me and He knows what He's doing.

  • @murielglass it's the wrong question to be asking, ...There are no wrong questions. I you can`t understand your god, how do you know you are pleasing him with your prayers, or with your way of life.. It might be just the opposite

  • @tallliza there are wrong questions if you hang on to them and repeatedly ask them if you don't get the answer you want, or if you don't follow where the answer is leading you. God doesn't dislike questions, I ask Him tons of things and I even think He blesses me with understanding because of that sometimes (not always though, sometimes i'm just being lazy and stubborn). thing is we need to be humble enough to accept that maybe there are things that won't be answered until later on,

  • @tallliza it's interesting you should ask that, because that's something i struggle with a lot, trying to figure out what pleases God and how to do it. it's something i'm learning right now, in fact. we as humans can't do very much but obey in seeking Him. communion in prayer and with the scriptures is really the key to it; scripture and the spirit do much of the work. we follow what Scripture says, always guided by the spirit, and trust God with the rest. and i grow in that faith every day.

  • @murielglass and the spirit do much of the work. we follow what Scripture says, always guided by the spirit,

It`s the same problem... How do you know you are guided by the spirit.

  • @tallliza prayer and scripture are key to that. the closer you are to God in prayer and scripture, the more certain things become. i can't say i'm guided by the spirit if i haven't prayed in 2 days or opened my bible in a week. but if i'm constant in seeking closeness to God, then the spirit is there and it IS felt; it's felt as peace unlike any you've felt before. added to that, i can't be guided by the spirit to anything different to what is already revealed in scripture.

  • @tallliza and for that i need to study scripture, not just take things out of context like some people do to justify injustice. Jesus said: "you will know them by their fruit". the fruit in my life tells me if i'm being guided by the spirit because the fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. and love's the big one (see 1co13). if i don't have at least a glimpse of those in my life, then something's off.

  • @tallliza Jesus said that the will of his Father was for us to believe the one He sent (ie Jesus). and that the law could be summed up in 2 commandments: to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; and to love your neighbor as yourself.

that's God telling us what he wants from/for us: a loving relationship with Him and with those around us, through faith in the one He sent. that's the whole purpose of God's plan for eveyone, and the spirit will always lead us towards that.

  • @murielglass -WELL PUT!!!
