Before he was known, Bob Seger used to scream out his vocals. By the time he was famous he was doing ballads, which to me was his best songs written. But, he earned to right to play one more time. He has rocked the world. No voice isn't the same but he crafted some great memorable songs.Robert Plant, Mick Jagger, many rockers can't still do it as they did, but I'd feel honored to get to be there..with the legends that kept rock alive and kicking. History.. We owe them respect.

The younger generations couldn't tell it from this video, but I saw Segar and the siver bullet band in the mid 80's in Nashville,TN and It's difficult to convey with words how TRULY awsome they sounded and how much energy they played with from the first note all the way through to the last. I was a Bob Seger fan back when he was a virtual unknown (to anyone outside of Detroit) playing the Midwest rock 'n' roll circuit. I love the guy. I love his music. I still have my copy of "Smokin' OP's". So I sure hate to say this, but his voice does not seem to have held up well. It may be time for him to hang it up.
