It's only because he's in Manhattan, New York where there really isn't much of a bike lane or anything -- too crowded. But I do agree, he shouldn't have been doing it so much. He's a good rider, but he could've caused a serious accident.

I can turn sharp, but when I try to go fast my feet slip off my wheels. it hurts cause the pedal hits my leg most of the time. I have a smaller wheel on my unicycle, and my knees bend a lot more when I ride...seat is as far up as it can go. maybe I just need one with a bigger wheel?

@xXInsaneXChickXx if you are looking for strictly speed, your seat should be up high enough that your knees bend very little. you want a bigger wheel. the shorter the cranks, the faster you can spin, but the harder it is to control at slow speeds

if the road was open, i could have gotten faster than adam I'm sure, but my speed in the video was about as fast as i wanted to go with all of my camera gear on.  also, the 29" allowed me easier control when starting with all my gear than my coker. Adam actually had his speed limited in the video so i could keep up with him, he could have gone way faster than he was riding in the clip. glad you enjoyed it!

a 20" will have kind of a shorter learning curve, but at the end of the day, a unicycle is a unicycle...i say learn on the 26" because when you figure it out, riding will be much more fun (like for commuting, riding rough gravel, off road, etc... don't worry, you'll own several of all wheel sizes soon enough :)
