  • AWESOME TANK MAN XD

  • that tank looks bigger then 40 gallon maybe cuz so much goin on i dunno :P nice tank tho, are all of those plants real?

  • @bradcronkhite thanks - they are UK gallons not American gallons? Its 180 Litres does that make a difference? None of the plants are real, all plastic apart from the floating ones on the surface

  • @myjugsarehuge ya its about 50 gallon U.S an i thought they where fake

mine are all diein an gorss lookin i got to pick the dead leafs off the plant lmao

how much did the set up cost for tank an filter? i was just considering on up grading my tank an i was curious on how much it would cost is all :P

  • Beautiful tank - I wouldn't have thought so many fish could live comfortably together, but they all look healthy and happy!

  • I grow Amazon Frogbit, a floating plant which multiplies rapidly and whose roots soak up nitrates from the water. I probably get away with being a little overstocked because of that, I do a thorough gravel syphon and 25-30% water change every 2-3 weeks.

  • What is your PH level? I though red tailed black sharks couldn't live in the same water parameters as plecs or neons?

  • Not sure what the pH is sorry, I rarely test my water these days, bad I know but I've had set up over 4 years so I just do 25% water change every 2-3 weeks with a deep gravel syphon.

I got the neons, rtb shark and plec from the same aquarium shop about 3 years ago, I'm down to 4 neons now I had 9 originally. They all seem to be OK whatever the paremeters are. The plec and rtb shark were only 2 inches long when I bought them.

  • Wow, I could sit and watch a fish tank like this all day. Does it require much maintenance?

  • Not really, about an hour every 2 weeks, doing a gravel syphon, 25% water change and changing the filter media

  • i need some help plz...i have recently added some bogwood to my aquarium for ma plec,i've boiled it and everything but it still turned my water a murky brown colour, i have removed the bog wood but the water still hasn't cleared after multiple water changes.?????

how can i get clear water again

  • Try using a carbon filter medium. My tank is a Juwel 180 and you can get carbon sponges, they have to be replaced after 4-6 weeks but your water should be crystal clear. I use them occasionally now.

Its not bogwood you can see in this aquarium its stone. I had the same problem with bogwood turning the water tea coloured, not good at all.

  • awesome fishes, excellent tank arrangements, hmmmm wat else...gud water clarity. ur tank is like a model for evry others :P oh and nice name :P

  • Thanks for all the compliments

  • fish are so cute! i got one golden catfish,3 plecos,1 algea eater, one blueberry tetra,2 other small orange fish and a parrot fish

  • Love your shark and the rest of the tank! Your plec looks like he's gonna be a big boy one day. :)

  • They have it better than I do those fish.

  • deservedly so :)

  • Thats a big tropical fish tank!

  • Its my amazing camera work makes it look bigger lol but I guess you heard that line before lol.

  • It was supposed to be a secret.

  • That's quite a pond there :-)

  • nice tank, i especialy like that multi couloured neon grass:)

  • Thanks, I used to have real plants but they kept dying and looked crap so its plastic plants from now on.
