Obama has lost the election and there is nothing he can do. The more he or his campaign attacks Palin the more popular she gets. The more Palin does interviews or speaks at rallies the more popular she becomes. Anyway you slice it the Democrats blew another election and were out smarted by the Republicans. The difference in this election is the women and Independent vote. Both of which McCain has increased by 20% the last 10 days. I don't even think the election will be that close.

Oh they're having some luck in terms of Congressional control, but that's only when they put in "blue dog" conservative D's on the tickets. In fact, I've got one in my district running for Ron Lewis' vacant seat (he decided to retire). Natually of course, when it comes to Speaker of the House and other leadership posts, the D's insist on the most liberal possible. But of course they know if they only run liberals in the Congress/Senate races, they'll lose big.

Talk about the issues? Obama hasn't said anything specific about his agenda in the last two years. The Republicans have been way more specific than he has. Obama is a great speaker and that's about it. The media has given him a pass and wants him elected. McCain wanted to do 10 town hall meetings with Obama and he refused because he doesn't have a plan and can't discuss the issues. All he can do say how bad Bush is and that McCain is another Bush. Now on to Tony Rezko who was recently convicted on charges of fraud and bribary. Obama has admitted that Rezko and his associates have "donted" $225,000 to his politcal campaigns. Obama bought a house from Rezko for $160,000 while the house next to this ones sold for 1.3 million. Rezko gave to the junior Senator for Illinois quite a deal don't you think.

Perhaps, but he has provided specific ideas of HOW he would "fix everything" (really though, he's just talking about energy, economy, and health-care most, with a bit in education, when it comes to hard policy changes).

The rest is about judgment, will, and how to "fix" the attitudes of Washington (which he's also mentioned, but isn't something he specifically can do) and not being Pres. Bush. It isn't as simple as you'd have others believe.
