I'm so awestruck and angry when I watch Brian Setzer play guitar. He makes playing look so F*^k!ng easy. I'm 53 and I realized when I was 16 that I didn't have the "music gene" in me when I couldn't get past "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".

@HendrixcommaMartin I agree that it's not GREAT-- I love Setzer's rockabilly stuff, but his jazz playing is too "rockified" for me.. The stuff he's playing here is pretty basic- I just dabble in jazz guitar (sax player by trade) but I can play most (or all) of the changes and inversions he's playing here. However, I wouldn't say it's "not good at all".. Also understand he's singing at the same time, which isn't easy...

I think it's the Gretsch. Brian makes that beautiful hollow body sing and soar and swoop. He is far more talented than most realize. This helps show it. toned and turned down, you hear the phenomenal playing ability he has. The deep sound of that guitar is soooo cool! His voice is great too, of course.
