I am what you'd call a spirit filled Baptist. Lately I've been feeling something strange. I feel like God's tossing warning shots at me and I'm catching them but I'm not sure what to do. I have felt an unnatural urgency to tell people about Jesus. In the last year I wrote a book about why my dad and brothers might not have been taken up. The second dream is my mom saw different events taking place through what she called look-in windows. People were crying and looking for kids, there were fires starting in different places, and etc. She said she feels like it was real. My mom is a strong Christian and good mother. So since this has happened I don't know what to think. Also, every time I have turned the Christian radio on this song has been playing "Soon we'll be leaving Eden...." It plays over and over again and I wonder why.
Those who are skeptical about pre-tribulation however read this: My mother so far has had two significant dreams relating to the rapture. If you choose not to believe me I feel bad for you because these are real. In one there was a stained glass window in a church that opened up just as my mom was about to be raptured. Starting chapter 4 there is no mention of the Church because we are in Heaven at this point. Then the tribulation begins. The reason for the tribulation in the first place is to judge those who did not accept Jesus Christ. To judge those who rejected Him. Thsose who have chosen Jesus will be taken up...then, the tribulation.

I know the generation Jesus was talking about is the generation at the end, but its a different end to what you are saying. In Luke 21:6 he states quite clearly what end he is talking about and it has nothing to do with the restoration of Israel, in fact it is the exact opposite - it is the destruction of the temple and Israel. Here's a word of wisdom for you: "Take a text out of context and all you are left with is a con". That's what you've done and that's what you are believing.
Jesus did not talk about the rapture in John 14:1-3. You have to have a very vivid imagination to draw that conclusion from reading those verses. Who was Jesus talking to? His disciples. Where did he go? To His father. Are the disciples still here on earth? No. When did they leave? When they died. Where are they now? With Jesus and with the father. Who came to take and them to the father? Jesus. Where is a reference to the rapture in that factual scenario?

If there was going to be a rapture, it would have to happen after the Great tribulation, since The Great Tribulation took place from 63AD and 70AM. When Jesus was 33 years old (33AD) he said this generation (the word generation in Aramaic means 40 years) will not pass until all these things come to pass. History proved Jesus correct.

Jesus never taught about The rapture. That is all based on the false prophet Paul's teaching, who based his gospel on the Mithra-based religions of his day. That is where the concept of a rapture comes from. You don't have to be a genius to work out that Matthew 24:36-44 is all about death. No where does Jesus say he is coming back for his people simultaneously, rather one at a time, one in a bed, another in a field ... no one knows the hour.

We spoke on this tonight in our youth group and WOW was it amazing. The Holy Spirit moved in soo many ways glory be to God. Anytime the gathering of the saints is mentioned in the scripture it happens after the tribulation:( Even Paul warns believers not to believe anyone who says that the day of the Lord has come, or that they missed the gathering because the great falling away and the antichrist must happen first.
Read Matthew 24 and you'll know what to expect, or 2 thess 2. Remember though, the most important thing is to be ready and accept Christ so that whether we go through the tribu or not, we`re ready when he returns.

There is no pretrib rapture. The Lord only described one (count 'em: one) "gathering together", and that being "after the tribulation of those days" (Matthew 24:29). Take Him at His word rather than following false teachings.

The second dream is my mom saw different events taking place through what she called look-in windows. People were crying and looking for kids, there were fires starting in different places, and etc. She said she feels like it was real. My mom is a strong Christian and good mother. So since this has happened I don't know what to think. Also, every time I have turned the Christian radio on this song has been playing "Soon we'll be leaving Eden...." It plays over and over again and I wonder why.

Those who are skeptical about pre-tribulation however read this: My mother so far has had two significant dreams relating to the rapture. If you choose not to believe me I feel bad for you because these are real. In one there was a stained glass window in a church that opened up just as my mom was about to be raptured. My mom has felt compelled to search for that window in every church she goes in. Recently we joined a church that has that very window in her dream. Talk about strange.

However did all of you know that Grahams daughter was led to Christ following a promise from God? Can I tell you the truth? I am going to a Baptist church right now where the preacher has felt led to talk about the rapture. I don't know what all this talk of rapture not being before tribulation and being a doctrine not accepted by Martin Luther. Who knows? Maybe God didn't want him Martin Luther to focus his mind on rapture but instead on evangelism. With great leaders they can still have errors because they are human. His area was not on the rapture but on bringing the truth to everyone.

Believers will be on earth during the tribulation! It is a test for all Christians. We will all endure pain or death for the price of salvation. The devil will say take my mark or die. There is no pre-tribulation rapture, only post-tribulation. Do not believe the false prophets that say they're Christ. Jesus coming back won't be a secret. People won't be saying, "where did they go?" Everyone will know. Everyone will be there.

@ThePhillies19 The Christians will be in Heaven before the tribulation. You will notice that the Church is mentioned in chapters 1-3 of Revelation. Starting chapter 4 there is no mention of the Church because we are in Heaven at this point. Then the tribulation begins. The reason for the tribulation in the first place is to judge those who did not accept Jesus Christ. To judge those who rejected Him. Thsose who have chosen Jesus will be taken up...then, the tribulation.

Jesus in Luke 12:36 to 12:40 speaks about his second coming. He says that when it happens he will br returning from the Wedding. If he is returning from the wedding, obviously the wedding already happened and if it happened then the ressurection happened, and therefore the gather together or rapture also did happen.

I know the generation Jesus was talking about is the generation at the end, but its a different end to what you are saying. In Luke 21:6 he states quite clearly what end he is talking about and it has nothing to do with the restoration of Israel, in fact it is the exact opposite - it is the destruction of the temple and Israel. Jesus did not talk about the rapture in John 14:1-3. You have to have a very vivid imagination to draw that conclusion from reading those verses. Who was Jesus talking to? His disciples. Where did he go? To His father. Are the disciples still here on earth? No. When did they leave? When they died. Where are they now? With Jesus and with the father. Who came to take and them to the father? Jesus. Where is a reference to the rapture in that factual scenario?

His whole discourse is about the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, which is the exact opposite to the restoration of Israel! He makes no reference to the antichrist. If there was going to be a rapture, it would have to happen after the Great tribulation, since The Great Tribulation took place from 63AD and 70AM. When Jesus was 33 years old (33AD) he said this generation (the word generation in Aramaic means 40 years) will not pass until all these things come to pass. History proved Jesus correct.

Jesus never taught about The rapture. That is all based on the false prophet Paul's teaching, who based his gospel on the Mithra-based religions of his day. That is where the concept of a rapture comes from. You don't have to be a genius to work out that Matthew 24:36-44 is all about death. No where does Jesus say he is coming back for his people simultaneously, rather one at a time, one in a bed, another in a field ... no one knows the hour.

We spoke on this tonight in our youth group and WOW was it amazing. The Holy Spirit moved in soo many ways glory be to God. ATTENTION ALL BELIEVERS, the "rapture" is not biblical anyway in the pre-tribulation sense. Jesus will come back ONE time, to gather his church and judge the world. Read Matt 24, the whole chapter and see that it is only after the tribulation that He comes. The rapture doctrine was written by a catholic priest, Francisco Rivera in the 16th century to overturn the protestants claims that the pope was the anti-christ. Many errors in this video.
1. The Earth is more than 6000 y.o. Geology & archaeology can verify that.
2. The compilation & editing of the books in the Christian Bible was an act of a mortal man - Emperor Constantine. He was a sun worshipping pagan.
3. Monotheistic religions are human invention. These problematic religions namely Islam, Christianity & Judaism all revere the one monotheistic God - the God of Abraham yet they have been fighting & criticising each other for ages.

@yewtube831 Umm, maybe #3 isn't because of God maybe it's people not doing what he says to do. Like Abraham having a kid with his servant because he was impatient, and Jews not wanting to accept Jesus as the Messiah. That's not God's fault that's people doing what people want to do.

2. If God exists, I'm sure it would be a small problem to make sure that the bible was intact the way he wanted. Besides, the emperor said that God revealed himself to him.

1. Well isn't acknowledging God as a monotheistic God also an assumption? In Hebrew, the word Elohim is plural, refering to a race of beings.
2. The Bible intact? Why the Catholics, Protestants, Jehovah Witnesses & Mormons have diferent Bibles?
3. I'm no atheist. I believe in Jesus. I also respect Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Buddha, Confucius... Religious writings are for human guidance; not a blind indoctrination that people fight to defend their faith. LOVE.
