  • @derbigpr500 u luk jst stuburn nthng else..... FYI mazda's r still far behind th Honda in reslibility, power, accelration, fuel economy..... Example : Mazda6 is only 125 Kw & Honda Accord Euro is 138Kw.......

So get facts right n dnt talk shit with Fenley...

  • cars are sooo slow . . . form 0-100 in 3,4 years -.-

    thats why i drive a Motorbike ^^

  • @KM89Shadow If u want to go fast then just buy 1 way ticket to moon with spaceship

  • Hey! I was wondering where you got the red-backlit gauges. I have an '04 EX V6 Coupe. Mine are the standard white with red needles. Like yours better. Thanks for posting. Cheers!

  • ДЕШОВКА!

  • you should buy the 2.4

  • 100-200 was 38 LOL

  • um the 100-200 time was 39 or 40 sec, not 32!

  • r u kiddin me? 32 secs? jesus christ my grand mom does it in 12 with a fucking fiat punto

  • @UnLiMiTeDfLoW bmw 320i has a 170 hp ,or something like that, and its a smaller and lighter car then a new accord! Bmw is a back drive car. My friend got one and its a great car, and it can do 0-100 maybe half a sec, faster than accord and cost about a lot more and its not better car then honda...

  • man if u didnt spin d tires at the beggining u woulda got a better start about 0.7 secs faster

  • very good shit ! ! ! ! ! !! !

  • do you not have vtec?

  • so the 2.0L has 155 bhp. do you guys have a 2.4L option? If you do it probably has the 190hp we have in the States now. Do you guys have an option for a 3.5L V6?

  • @desimunda116 yep we get the 2.4 4cyl but we dont et the 3.5 V6 :/ i dunno why

  • thats not too impressive.

  • this car must be sooped up a bit . I have a 2005 2.0litre with the Ivtec engine with Manual transmission, the car has done 30K or so miles, and there is no way it will do it this quick, it to heavy, believe me i have tried.

  • well that's what I call slow - How did You measure the acceleration??? without G-tech You can't get shit. And even looking on the video it is 9.0sec not 8.3...sory but that is slow as hell...

  • and rasta172 what car do you drive? 1981 pontiac grand am?

  • @xm8563

    infinity G35 - any questions?

  • I have the same car (2003 Honda Accord i-Vtec 2.0 Sport 155hp) and it does 0-100km/h about in 9.0seconds, so that is propably a downhill case. Or very very good launch with GOOD grip.

It is still more or less a nomal quite heavy family car. Very good looking though i think and a good car to drive. I have 18" under in summer, bit noisy it is.

  • 9 seconds?? ive timed my clio 1.2 to 100kmh and it did it in 9.9 seconds. honda accords are not that slow

  • Maybe 100 km/h on your speedo. A clio 1.2 8v does around 15s and the 16v around 13s (2003)

  • @sumo7914 and thats not even the v6

  • 8,9 s 0-100km/h with 195/65 R15

    9,1 s 0-100km/h with 225/45 R17

    this is clear "downhill case"

    moreover, type-s: 7,9s 0-100km/h with 190-200hp

  • Looks like its downhill!

  • ehhh but the 2003 and up accords look way better than the old 1z lol and the new 1z omg beautiful lol

  • Presented 100-200 km/h is uphill test. I also performed test on a flat road where the measured time was 32s. I was not able to include this video into acceleration video because of file corruption.

@skuibiza: 25s with octavia 1.8tsi, hmmm .. I noticed that acceleration on road with just a little downhill gradient can give few seconds better results. Are you really sure your test was performed on a flat road?

  • yes, flat road, but I did not leave the same time as other Octavia 1.8 tsi 160cv, tb look more videos of other people and really are times in every match, now is the time of 25s, but 21s, but leaving in 5th place, even more difficult, look at the other and I tell

  • could you please upload another video with your honda accord plz?

  • accord can go to 7300 rpm in i-vtec!!!! you change to early

  • I shifted at around 7100 rpm (side view camera recording). On my model rpm are limited to around 7200 rpm.

  • suibiza is right man you did 100-200 in about 40s

  • Yes, 41 seconds.

  • quien tiene 41s en un 100-200??

  • i have a new accord 2.0 156 h. in manual it says 9.3s to 100km/h, but i did it in 8.5s according to my gps, and for a 1.5 ton car whit less than 160 hp i think that is fast. look at the other cars in that class and you will see that this is best engine

  • @dule047 Where do you find a new accord with only 156 horse?

  • @afghi420 european accord 2.0 156hp, 2.4 201hp and 2.2 diesel 150hp

  • @dule047 2.0 accord engine is not even near being the best engine in class. Its closer to being the worst engine in class, and it probably is, because everyone else offers turbo engines which are MUCH faster and have much better fuel economy. This honda engine, same as all other honda engines feel very weak and slow unless you're taking them to redline. I wouldnt like a car in which i cant overtake anyone unless i hit a redline. WAG 1.8 turbo, Mercedes 180CGI, Opel 1.6t, etc, much better.

  • @derbigpr500 Most of the engines you listed are newer and are not any quicker WAG 1.8T for example. The Opel 1.6T is a new engine and the Merc 1.8 CGI engine is also a new engine which is near identical in terms of performance.

Roll back 7 yrs when the i-vtec was introduced and the Honda engine was right up there with the best engines without the need for a turbo. Not to mention that Honda has pioneered Variable valve technology which almost all manufacturers are now using says a lot.

  • @FinleyESB Well, that was 7 years ago. 7 years ago doesnt matter, and even then, there were 2 liter engines better than honda's. The fact is, Honda engines are technologically backward in comparison to other manufacturers.

  • @derbigpr500 Of course it matters, Honda doesnt even use this engine anymore.

Comparable engines on its introduction were the BMW N42 4 cylinder which is slower and not as economical, The Ford Duratec 2.0, Same as above, Vauxhall 2.2 z22se again slower and not as economical.

Honda make some of the best engines in the world and are the most reliable bar none. The I-DTEC is generally regarded as the best diesel engine on the market while the Vtec's give performance with unrivaled reliability.

  • @FinleyESB Well, compare any european turbo engine with power up to 150-160 hp with the new 2.0 i-vtec with 156 horsepower. 0-100 times are similar, turbos are only slighlty faster, but in gear performance, max speed, acceleration from low rpm and fuel economy are not comparable. Also, i-dtec is regarded as the best diesel engine on the market by whom? By those who havent heard of BMW 2 liters diesel, Audi/VW 2 liter diesels, PSA, Renault, Mercedes etc. diesels?

  • @derbigpr500 BMW Diesels are not all that. I own one. ;-)

I have a 320di e46 and its ok but i have driven better diesels like fords TDCI and Honda's ICDTI which is the only diesel that comes close to feeling like a petrol in its drivability and power delivery. You cant usually redline a diesel without it losing power, Ther Honda unit has power right up to the redline. Infact it was awarded Diesel engine of the year when it was introduced.

  • @FinleyESB Honda engines get very little power from 2 litre's. 150 hp diesel and 156hp petrol. Opel gets 180hp from 1,6. VW gets 170hp from 1.4. Peugeot gets 200hp from 1.6 petrol. Audi / VW get 170 hp from 2 liter petrol. Renault gets 180 hp. Opel gets 190. BMW and Mercedes gets over 200hp from 2 litre petrol (*23d and 250cdi). Also, they all consume less fuel than honda engine and produce less co2. Honda is even behing Mazda and Toyota/Lexus in terms of engines.

  • @derbigpr500 What about the 200bhp engine in the Civic type R or the 220 bhp engine in the Accord euro R.??

Honda makes more than one engine you know. Infact the engine in this video is not even a true Vtec and it is tuned for economy. Its not always about power and straight line speed.

All the engines you keep mentioning are TURBO's. If you bolt a turbo on to any Vtec engine you stand to make huge power gains. But the point of this engine is not power. Its a family car.

  • @FinleyESB Also, Honda reliability is a myth. Its the thing of past. In recent years honda isnt doing that good on reliability surveys. Actually, Mazda is the only japanese manufacturer in last 5 years that mentained the legendary reliability.

  • @derbigpr500 Honda have produced over "ready for it" 15,000,000 VTEC engines and not one has failed in the warrenty period. Not bad hey.

And Honda were 7th in last yrs JD Power reliability ratings, unfortunately Mazda rocked up a pretty low 29th.

  • you 100-200km/h in 39.6s.....time 0:36 a 1:16, not 32s, you time is 39.6, my time with octavia 1.8 tsi 160cv is, 25s

  • hey, stay calm...your octavia sucks...this is an old accord...the new one smokes the shit out of your fuckin' octavia...ya' better shut up.

  • hey, loser, the accord will smoke whatever you want to boil, I just say that the 1.8 tsi 160cv to have better times that this car, there is much difference in the times nothing else, it shows how the envidea eh? jajajajajaja

  • ya' really? you know that yesaterday I had a race with an 1.8 skoda octavia...exactly as yours...the 2009 accord(mine)SMOKED IT.............when I shifted to 3rd gear, the octavia was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to far to be seen

  • you have to compare the 1.8 tsi 16v 160cv with the 2.4 16v 190cv, understand me? Yes Name of 201cv, I named the 2.0 TFSI, and thus never finish

  • Old accord is faster than new accord. I bet it is also a little bit faster than the 1.8 tsi 160hp and it has a better engine.

  • say that the Honda Accord 2.0 i-VTEC engine is more than a 1.8 tsi? tsi consume the least, and has much better recovery, reiterates see my videos and watch the other videos of the 1.8 tsi

  • because the new accord has 1.5t the old didn't had that much

  • no it have 1400kg....old one also have the same...

  • hahaha,no its not..i got a new one,and my dad have a 2006 model...i draw the new one(156hp,2.0i vtec)230,and acceleration for new is 8.9,witch is nothing special...the 2006 2.0 i vtec can do a 220,with 9.2 sec up to a 100kmh....so cut the crap...:P

  • slow

  • Резво набирает

  • 2.0 i have the same one...Well for a such a big car with 155bhp it is fast...

  • Are you sure this is 155hp 2.0????

Its looks kinda like 2.4 type s??? Seems a bit too fast for 155hp.

  • It can be done in 8 seconds flat :))

  • has it been mosified in any way

  • No. No engine tuning has occurred.

  • its in kph instead of mph

  • of course. it's an european model.

  • Nice video.Nice car.I like Hondas.

  • nice job on this video :)..Accord is the best in his class

  • It did 8.0 0-62mph on a test i watched..Pretty impressive :)
