Alright Blink is probably my favorite band and I've been listening to them since I was a teenager, but comparing them to Muse is absolutely ridiculous. The genres are completely different. Matthew Bellamy is one of the greatest songwriters of our time, and while I love Blink, Muse is absolutely amazing. Both bands are one of a kind and deserve respect, but claiming that any "true" fan of either band should blindly hate on the other band is just wrong.

yeah this definitely isnt pop punk - that's like new found glory and all time low. This is more a mix of alternative and pop punk. Still a sick song. Idk why it gets me sad everytime i listen to it.

You can't compare Muse and Blink, they are entirely different, Muse is apocalyptic heavy space rock, or whatever the hell you would call them, lol, and Blink is just straight punk, it's their spin, and in my opinion doesn't live up to the original at all

i like both muse and blink because blink got me onto music when i was younger but truth is thats really all they are is a band that gets kids into guitar based music muse is much more progressive and musical. and popularity is a shit argument because just look at the people choice awards, glee was best tv show or whatever and that show doesnt have very much substance.
