wow, what a beautiful story, just beginning. I teach a child development class, and we had a student who also adopted post this as part of an assignment, left me weeping with joy for you and your family. God Bless, Laurie
Bless your heart! Thank you for your sweet words. Makes me weep every time I watch it, too :) I honestly still can't believe our miracle baby is home!
I'm adopted as well when I was 2 all this kids are in my family, I wouldn't change it for anything.....although I wasn't adopted from another country :) she's gorgeous
What a beautiful baby and such a happy and blessed family. I read your miracle story and we have our own. Our daughter was a waiting child with a tumor diagnosis. We prayed without ceasing for a complete healing and our prayers were answered. She came home and was declared 100% healthy. She is such a joy. Thanks for sharing.
Very moving video - very well put together also - great that it shows the whole span. Y'all look as though you have a wonderful family. My husband and I are interested in adoption - quite possibly from China - it's strange, but it seems as though God has put a great burden on my heart this past week or so, so I'm going through everything I can find to get as much information as I can (I'm a planner, so I'm working on my adoption notebook) I know, a little dorky, but it works for me. :) God bless
What an adorable little Chinababy! Did she stop crying right away as you soothed her? I have seen so many Chinese kids become somber, like they are giving up after they were given over but it looked like she snuggled with you even! That is wonderful!
Thank you for your sweet comments! It was absolutely amazing. She had been screaming for hours (we were told). She was handed to us and as we tried to soothe her she relaxed and rested on my shoulder. It was simply beautiful! No doubt God answered our hearts deepest prayers....that He would prepare her for us. It's still so hard to believe she's been home a year now :) Blessings!
Congratulations on your precious daughter. She is stunning. I'm 5 years away from being age eligible to adopt, according to the laws of my country. But I'm dettermined! I'll spend the next 5 years getting everything ready to offer my baby the best possible conditions for her to developp and grow up healthy and happy. Thank you for this inspiring video. Hopefully one day I will be posting my own.
Thank you! Ohhh, do I remember waiting to be old enough :) I had to wait until I turned 30 to adopt our precious daughter from China. Thankfully we were able to adopt our other peanuts without an age requirement. Best wishes on your adoption journey. It's a crazy journey but worth ever up and down!
What a happy, gorgeous little girl... watching you get your daughter put the faith back in me that at some stage in the future - with this crazy wait... our turn will come and this wait will be a blurry memory... I know that I have to go through this wait to appreciate what I will be blessed with at the outcome of it all... thank you for your video - though it made me cry with both happiness and anticipation for our much awaited for daughter Shauna...
Stacy~ Your family is amazing! I am so glad you posted on my youbelong. Thank you for sharing your youtube. Your daughter is a doll! I would love to know all about your Kunming trip!! Also, I have a photo of a little girl waiting in Kunming now, who looks so much like your little one. Blessings to you and your lovely family!!
I noticed you have two other children that might be adopted, any chance they were adopted from Ethiopia? We are in the process of adopting from there and are interested in meeting other families.
Thank you for your sweet note and congratulations on your upcoming adoption. Our babies were not adopted from Ethiopia. 1 is bio, 3 are open-domestic adoption, and then our daughter from China. God bless!
Thanks for sharing the video! I love it -- it made me cry. Your family is beautiful; such a picture of the kingdom of Christ! And our time will come!!
Congratulations! We adopted our first daughter from China in Dec. 2004 and are LID for our second daughter on 5-15-06. Your video was wonderful! Best wishes to you and your family!
Congratulations and Thank you! I'm from Kunming originally. Your clip touched some place in my heart, where recently there have been doubts. It is difficult for me to describe the feeling when I see you hugging your daughter for the first time in her life. But I feel I can hold on to what I believe a bit firmer. Thank you!
It blesses my heart so much to know this video touched you in such a special way! We could not love our daughter any deeper...she is amazing...an absolute joy and we are in complete awe of the miracle that she is! Many blessings to you!
How is she now? Any new update videos! Her giggles are so precious!
