and also the Hydrometer was telling me 27% instead of the set humidity by the factory which is suppose to be around 45% i think.... Anyhow's, it would be great if we could talk beside the youtube thing! lol! i am sending you my number. I hope to talk to you about the Rcom3. Thank you.
@LovemyBabyjou Yeah,i know right?this machine is kinda crazy 1st time.i guess u have to run it for a while.Here's d story..i started w/ african luvbrds..i failed..then canaries..failed..both of which i used Rcom incbtr.Then,Gouldians,success!Well,it took d life of d 1st clutch but this 2nd one,got lucky.I used an ordinary thermometer(cvs pharma) to chck temp,setting was 37.5=95F in machine,temp read was arnd 99.8-.9.ideal is 99.5 to hatch.seemed acceptable.now,i know humidity seems to be d prob.
I love your videos!!! Especially because i also have an Rcom3 and i breed gouldians myself. I have found that the temperature and humidity in the Rcom is not accurate as it says on the monitor. I did a test and put an external temp/humidity meter that i got from Petsmart, you can find it in the reptile section. So i found out that, when the machine tells me 37 degrees, the thermometer is telling me 39.8. ???? Did you check yours?
@LovemyBabyjou ,part 2...so i read in 1 book to add a dish cup of water(i put inside d rcom beside d eggs) to add more humidity for d eggs to hatch..so it did.Problem solved at last.It took me years to figure out this Rcom thing.
