@aggrav8d The work envelope of the robot is hidden behind a hard wall, yes. But the roll-up door is there to prevent people from being in proximity to the positioner when it indexes. You have to guard it somehow, and the roll-up door just allows you to be a little closer than a light curtain does.
These tools make a lot of noise in the plastic so the roll up door also mitigates some of that noise for the operator.

If the work envelope is hidden behind the rotating wall, why bother with the roller door? Seems excessive.
