Here's how I think the series should end: Justin wins the final wizard competition, but both he and Alex become full wizards as a result of her winning the premature one in the Movie. Later, Justin and Harper flee into the past so that Justin won't have to give up his powers to marry a mortal. (Clues in the Season 2 episode "Future Harper" makes this scenario possible).

@icon0777 IKR! They're doing it on purpose. I think they're gonna make Justin start to like Harper & Harper obviously still likes him even though she's with Zeke.
