They get like that in the morning when it's time for their feeding. They're normally pretty happy. The black and white patterned Botia were sold to me as Yo-Yo Loaches although they might be Pakistani Loaches. They're basically the same except the pattern on the Yo-Yo is more in the form of the word "YoYo" while the Pakistani Loach just has a maze like pattern . Thanks for the nice comments.
I have been in the hobby for several years and must say this is one of the nicest community tanks I have ever seen. All your fish truly look so happy and lively! Its like its shot in accelerated video or something they are so lively. Also, what species of Botia are the black and white maze pattern? I always get them confused... :) Anyways, Gorgeous tank doesn't say enough. p.s. My favorite fish is the clown loach - thats what brought me here. :)
