i just got the billy wing bolt kit for my dm8...... what should i run my dwell at, it seems like it shoots the best at the stock 18 but i know it should be lower

alexnerney...I heard that you should run a higher dwell setting in cold weather of about 20 at the very highest and my DM8 dwell setting is at the factory 18 dwell setting I know if it gets turned down to much its not very consistent also I run the Billy wing bolt as well =) enjoy your dm8 great markers without a doubt !

dm8 because u can only shoot a max of about 14/15 bps semi or 13bps ramping in any league so with an ego just cause they can shoot 30+ bps is pointless dm8's and matrix's in general have less kick then ego's and a way smoother shot it because it has self cleaning eye's if u happen to chop u can still play on without having problems ego's are about the same weight but have more kick and are much louder ego's are also a litle worse on paint and do not have self cleaning eyes i would buy a dm8

OMG finnaly someone who knows what they are talking about. That is the only reason people get egos is for ramp. I have one and dread it. Shouldve got a DM8 instead.

I like DMs... atey are light... great acuracy...

but I use EGO... 8) cuz it's best marker in the world.. ivenna if EGO will never have same comfortable frame as DM have... I'll still use EGOs and Virtue boards...

and dont forget the air efficiency that the dm's have... dm's work at 140 psi while ego's work at 180-190 psi.. what ego's have is that theyre f#$%ing accurate they do shoot ropes i have seen the dm7 and sometimes they shoot ropes but its because of the barrel's bore size!!

It's all about personal preference. DM8's have less kick, and shoot smoother, and are more consistent from shot to shot. However, they have poor air efficiency compared to the Egos. The Ego8 has speed, efficiency and ease of maintenance.

defintitly not an SL but and 08 ego and a DM8 r very non-comparable considering one is a Spool valve gun and ones an open bolt gun...its personal prefrence between them but my personal preferance is the DM8...i would pick a DM8 over an ego anyday

well it cant be "proven" considering there two completly diffrrent guns ones a spool vaulve the other is open bolt so they both operate diffrently so u CANT compare them its personal prefrence...its wat u prefer and i just prefer the DM8

This gun is absolutly amazing. Very easy to rip on this gun. 2 roller bearings = ropes. Only bad thing is that KEE hs had to ship extra paint for our team =p
