  • Andy Murray is very respectful, always. He deserves respect for being a polite, modest, charming young guy who has had to learn to deal with mass media attention in a short time. He is an incredible player. Federer is an amazing champion. I'd love to see both in this year's final. Electrifying.

  • Andy you have a lot to be proud of. No doubt you will go back rethink your game and come out all guns firing. You saw the level you have to play at consistantly to get there and you did it, so now you just have to keep doing it. Good Luck

  • Loved the way Andy jokingly said that Federer put the record straight...Andy showing Roger respect....good game look forward to seeing alot more of these two in the final

  • some people are shocked by his performance but 12 time slam champion first slam final with less thn a day after your biggest win eva just like djoko last year occasion got to him dkos was actually worse cuz he had loads of chances and now he wud take them then he cudnt will uni make andy stonger n next year is guna be a gr8 year 4 mens tennis

  • love Roger!

but Murray is a good sport-He beat Nadal after all!

  • I want to see them both in a final again, but with Murray having had a few more matches under his belt at that level.

Yes, how Murray took apart Nadals game was brilliant. I think he will be great for tennis.

  • When Andy lost to Federer in the finals, he made a point to mention that he had beaten Roger a few times earlier in the year- THIS WAS DURING THE TROPHY CEREMONY!! I didn't see Nadal say that he had beaten Andy 5 previously this year, Andy needs to learn the meaning of RESPECT!

  • Yes he did but you dont understand why he said it. Andy said as HE thought he was doing good but Roger put him in his place and showed him just how good he needs to be to win. That was respect.....you really have no idea.

  • he made a joke u no he sed he beat federer the last couple of times be4 but fed really proved hus boss 2night n every1 laughed plus nadal sed murray played better first set toronto thn here but no1 wud say nadal shud learn respect to not say murray wasnt as good he becuase nadal is a great sportsman as is murray

  • You probably don't understand the concept of parallelism, a sentence or even the english language all in all... yes he did say that ha had beaten Roger and then went on in saying that now he has set the record straight what that does mean? It means that he was actually saying that Federer should have always won all their matches...

  • You need to watch the ceremony again. Murray was nothing but respectful. Any media I read commented on it. Plenty of Federer fans as well. Your opinion is in the minority.

  • You don't deserve something until you get there. Why does the human race fail to understand this so emphatically.

  • 3 days tennis in a row was just too much. Fed had more than a day's rest. 26 aces in the semi, he was at his best, but with no rest before the final, it was a match too much.

    Vamos Andy. :)

  • Yes bad organising but they couldnt help the rain, but they could have started the matches at the same time, but the sponsors - i,e tv couldnt allow it.

  • I wish he played better against Federer, i was rooting for him and he made me look like an idiot. I don't appreciate that...!!!!!!!

  • I dont think Andy would have been too chuffed either......do you?

  • I like him....he's humble, and that shows a lot about his character. i hope he'll overtake djokovic for the no.3 spot. he deserves it.
