In canada its not only firearms, apparently a pellet gun that shoots over 450fpm is considered a firearm too!! I did not know that about canada until I was looking into buying a big bore air rifle from wackenbush, they make BIG air rifles that can kill a bear, bison, deer, wild boar ect. but its not a firearm, just a big air rifle, in canada I bet they have to be registered too! since they consider anything over 450fpm a firearm, so i guess a daisy bb gun is a FIREARM IN CANADA, CANADA IS SCREWY

You guys have it kind of rough in Canada. I moved from Illinois to Florida so I could carry to protect myself and my property. here in Florida they have laws even to make it so you cannot get fired for bringing your gun to work with you, and you don't have to flee your house if someone breaks in. They gave him back the guns because he was not a threat to public safety, and he'd already been deprived of them for over three years due to the court proceedings, amounting to a three-year firearms prohibition. The judge that found him not guilty in the original trial felt that was punishment enough.

well... most places in America you can carry a firearm in the open. But even so you're going to be stopped and questioned by the law, no doubt about that. You do however need a concealed carry permit to carry concealed of course. Obama seems too busy right now to go after firearms with his buddy Eric Holder. Things could change though... even though i believe it would be political suicide if Obama went after the 2nd amendment.

That's one reason I enjoy living in Washington. I open carry all over and have only been questioned by regular people a couple times. Once I explained the laws to them, they were cool. I've not been bothered by the cops, yet. But I do know some people here who have in certain towns.

Actually it does, but on a much worse scale. Homes have been raided many times in California and other states to take peoples legally owned firearms. Most notably in Louisiana and Mississippi after hurricane Katrina and most recently in Huston TX. The ATF or other government thugs raid homes of law abiding citizens without warrant or probable cause then trump up charges afterword. Usually the people are released, but never get their guns back.
