Sometimes this game slows down for me. Hell the game doesn't show the opening movie on mine, and I am on Vista. And most of the texts would not show up. What are your settings?

There isn't any difference basically, is there? Except of course there is a native release of DX on PC, which is an advantage by itself.

I don't think the point of this video is that you should use an emulator, but rather that it works fine :)

SonicRyan1992 try to configure it... if you havent. maybe ther is something in your grafick card that is not compatible wit the emulator. try to make the settings default for your grafick card.. put your antialiasing at 4x and 16x anisotropic filtering and always vsync.

@sonic3243 it's actually didn't go so well. problem was that the pc's that i have gotten over the years are cheap. i'll try it later on if i ever get a quality laptop. hopefully a dualcore so i can also use Dolphin emulator.

well since you didnt put your config make sure your graphics is nullpvr instead of chankast as nullpvr is more for graphics and chankast is for speed

I have that problem with null dc 1.0.3 as well. thats why i use 1.0.0 beta 1.6 , for some reason it emulates the game much better with full graphics. i suggest you download that coz your pc may have older graphics

You will need a program called xpadder.

If you are a windows vista or 7 user, you will have to run it as administrator.

You can try find the nulldc emulator with bios and xpadder here on youtube.

Just search for nulldc + bios + xpadder here on youtube and you will find it, I hope it helped :)

my pc has very simular settings to yours (2.40 GHz, it has 3gb of DDR though)

but the emulator is quite slow when i play this game.

lol, are you playing this with a keyboard? Get a PS2->PS3 adapter for $3 on eBay and play with an analog stick! or use a PS3 or XBOX 360 controller if you have one.

it messed up on character models, and it has more glitches.

I don't know. Fraps is the only one that records at 60FPS for me.

Hmm, I must be using it wrong then - because whenever I record ANYTHING with FRAPS it cuts the framerate in half - and my PC is pretty much identical to yours in specs.

uh, i think that's an obvious YES. Yeah, probably; he has 2.4GHz though. 3GB of ram will definetly cut it, same for your grphcs card. you can use it if your hard disk has at least 1.5GB free.

I got NullDC and this game on my laptop earlier this week, but it's got graphical errors (characters loses their eyes when the levels start and when the score is being tallied, plus a lot of clipping) and bad sound quality. What could be wrong?

bad sound quality= vista b/c vista sucks. there is a newr version of nulldc out i think. im using it on my shitty laptop im getting average of 55-60 fps in sonic games :)
