My greyhound has yet to reach this point of laziness. The moment I get up... put on a sweater, etc, he is up and at the front door. We walk 4 miles a day (sometimes more) so you'd think he'd be happy to rest!

It's the look that says 'you want to walk, knock yourself out, I just got comfy!' - he's a gorgeous grey! This is greyhound non violent protest :) - but the minute you do something else, they'll want to go out :)

lol you know the best way get them up for a walk is when you show them the lead should always work as in the kennels they learn its for the walks pretty much my kennel does that

When mine first came she would hide under the desk when we got the lead out. Now she jumps up and down so we can't get it on her :)

Greyhounds do have a tendency to be lazy, and sweet. They're the kind of dog, if you want to stay at home and watch movies all day, they'll curl up with you on the couch and help ya out.

Holy cripe. Get those dogs off the depressents. Even my elderly, morbidly obese IG with cateracts and a heart condition gets excited when I ask her if she wants to go for a walk! I actually feel bad because I go for a very fast run with my other greyhound and have to leave her behind whining. But she does get to go to the doggie park every day as a consulation prize.
