TO ACCEPT GOD IN YOUR HEART AND BE SAVED SAY THIS PRAYER Lord God. I come to You a sinner and I humbly repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe You raised Him from the dead. I ask that Jesus will come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I receive Jesus to change and take control of my life that I may live for Him from this day forth and from now on. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me and cleansing me with Your precious blood. In Jesus name, Amen.
Nothing proves the man-made character of religion as obviously as the sick mind that designed hell, unless it is the sorely limited mind that has failed to describe heaven. Christians always write to me threatening me with Hell. Strange how they think this vindicates them and their religion. Threats are the hallmark of a wicked creed. How can you believe it's ok to torture anyone forever?
this is real god might have showed him a glims of hell, the awful smell is true and the burning also its a very dark place with smoke, if you read the kuran it explains it, poor guy but he pick the wrong religion he should have become muslim
Why would you go to hell for overdosing on drugs? And if the people are warning him not to join him then why are they even in hell in the first place? They sound like a good group of people to me that wouldn't belong in such a fictional place.
@james1forification1 Sin is what takes people to hell. Stealing, lying, murder, hate, adultery, sexual lust, pride, greed, idol worship, blasphemy, dishonouring parents and not giving God His due worship. These sins which are the violation of the Ten Commandments make one guilty and deserving of going to hell. Have you sinned against God?
@throneoftheking Yeah I have. I don't think God would really care if I worshiped him or not. I also don't really think God would punish me for something he gave me. (sex drive for example) I think it is important to realize that we are human and it's okay to make mistakes. If there is a God, and if he really cares about these kinds of things, I think we would only receive punishment for truely malicious things.
@james1forification1 God sees hate as murder. Have you ever hated someone? God sees sexual lust as adultery. Have you ever looked at a woman and lusted after her? God demands moral perfection from you. Murder (hate) is a very malicious thing so is adultery (sexual lust), lying, stealing, idol worship etc. If you have sinned just once the anger of God is abiding on you. God will punish you for your sins. There is only one way out, you need to be made perfect and that from an external source.
@throneoftheking I can't help but feel attracted to women. Doesn't it seem you that God would punish me for something he instilled in me? I do hate and I do feel lust but experiencing these things only makes me human. I don't see eye to eye with you but thank you for sharing your view.
@james1forification1 God calls looking at a woman and having sexual fantasies for her as adultery. God sees you as a murderer (you hate), an adulterer (you lust). It is because of our sins that JESUS became a man. He lived the perfect life we could not. Then he stepped in and paid for our crimes against God by taking our place on the cross. God wants you to know him and the wonder of his forgiveness. Trust in JESUS today and God will forgive your crimes and set you free from your part in Hell!
@james1forification1 All of us have our faults like when u mention lust I have trouble with anger/rage, God created biological needs its a natural part of life. These people who say your going to hell or u need to repent thats only them judging u. How ironic/brainwashed Fundamentalists think they are the only one's going to the spirit world it makes me sick do james1forification1 a favor and except him/her who who they are and find inner love and peace, open yourself to ideas
@throneoftheking Dude dude dude listen... You need to stop trolling other people with your own religious beliefs. In reality we don't know where we go when we die or if their is an afterlife. its not right to judge people on what they do or don't believe. I believe in Love and Spirituality and if I'm damned to HELL because of this well... I suppose I will go to "Hell" Peace and Love Always
@Baylorchick20 uhhh. you just replied to me??? Anyway "they" are not my beliefs, I did not make them up but am simply passing onto you a warning from God. If you die in your sinful condition God will be forced to give you justice. If you have ever lied, stolen, hated, lusted, taken Gods name in vain then you will be found guilty and end up in Hell. This is why Jesus became a man 2000 years ago to give his life for your sins. If you accept Jesus as your Saviour you will be spared from Hell. :)
@throneoftheking But your not preaching about Love? Come on you can't believe every single thing that the Bible tells you. I believe in God/Jesus and spirits. Everyone lives a sinful life including you I doubt God created humans and the universe just to damn us. Sounds like total narcissism. We can never completely know until we pass on. Trust me I've accepted Jesus but don't consider my myself a Christian. I wish you the best with Peace and Love.
@Baylorchick20 God’s love for you was demonstrated in Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. By the way, which part of the Bible is believable and which isn’t? Why is the part that talks about Jesus believable but other parts are not? Why would a loving God leave you in the dark about such an important topic as your eternity? Please add me as a contact so we can have a more mature conversation. I would love to listen to what you have to say :)
@throneoftheking@throneoftheking I get it. If you read closely there are some pretty messed up things in the Bible but I suppose the people back then were too superstitious no logic.I'm just saying be more open minded on other people's beliefs. God isn't leaving me in the dark I know that. Trolling Fundamentalist.
@Baylorchick20 It was Napoleon who once said "People will believe anything unless it is written in the Bible". The Bible speaks of a round earth, free floating in space, travelling in an orbit. There is much evidence to show the divine origins of the Bible but you seem to have a rebellious attitude that only God can break. Unless things change for you the darkness you have will remain, maybe forever. Don’t let your pride take you there, as there will be no way out.
@throneoftheking Dude we all have our own personal darkness inside us. It's what makes you human. I know the bible speaks about those kinds of things. Only God will judge me when I pass on. Just spread Peace to everyone and you will win a piece of cheese! Haha just messing with you. Its always good to have a sense of humor. Peace
@Baylorchick20 I like your cheeky sense of humour but I feel Gods love for you and it is His love for you that pushes me to tell you the truth. I don’t want God to judge you because if that happens you will force Him to give you justice. Jesus came to this world to take the judgment of God onto himself so that if you trust in Christ to save you there will be no judgement day for you. It is because I care for you that I tell you what I tell you. Please view the videos on my channel. Take care.
im a christian but im still open minded to other religions. i do believe there is some sort of powerful energy out there (God) and im a respectful person and im not into any drugs except i might like to drink somtimes/ smoke some weed.
@cbohar84 "Religion flies people into buildings". NO, Radical Islam flies people into buildings... Don't put Christians, Buddhists, ect. in the same boat. Have fun with your big bang THEORY. - Sincerely, an ex-atheist. (P.S. If you want an honest, intelligent debate, please reply... my account is private for now, so I can't receive messages).
@DovefromGod Big bang "theory", yeah and I guess the universe being spoken into existense and the earth being made in seven days are perfectly rational alternatives to modern scientific claims, I'll gladly message you
Im an atheist and I dont think it'll be difficult at all on my death bed. Death is death, the state of nonbeing, it is something that happens to everyone who lives so why fear it? Because some 2000 year old mythology book told me I was going to burn up for believing in something that has no scientific backing?
@cbohar84 Scientifically backed? There hasn't been a single "athiest" that has proven the bible wrong. In fact, many of them become believers them selves after "trying" to disprove it.The bible is 100% fact and not "mythology", read it for yourself one day and then come talk to me, instead of professing to be wise about something you have no logical idea about.
@crazybeats396 Ive read the bible many times and I challenge any Christian to prove it's legitimacy through scientific evidence. There is no solid evidence to support a "Hell" The Bible was written by primative people for primative minds. Hopefully one day you'll realize that the first century is over and embrace reason and logic, and not superstitious nonsense
@Craigbennett87 Yawn!! My argument remains the same. Show some hard, measurable scientific proof that this so called afterlife/hell exists. I wonder when people will finally get out of the 12th century and step into the light of rational thinking. Remember now, science flies people into space. Religion flies people into towers
@cbohar84 It’s interesting that the founding fathers of what we call experimental science were all (with very few exceptions) believers in the Biblical God. You yourself are religious.....the religion of humanism ( yes it’s a registered religion ).
@throneoftheking Many of the founders of experimental science lived in far primative eras, yeah Netwon believed in god for instance but he also believed in astrology and alchemy for that matter. You wont find too many modern day scientists proclaiming a religous faith. Science has freed humanity from superstition
@cbohar84 Humanism is a registered religion and is the choice religion for most evolutionists. There are thousands of Bible believing scientists today who used to be evolutionists who would disagree with you. You almost hit the nail on the head though. It’s all about world views. A belief in creation, God etc is a world view, but it’s the correct world view. I will assume your world view is that of naturalism i.e. nature is all there is and there is no supernatural realm. Am I correct?
This is very real and true, if you choose not to believe it, then God does not send you to hell, you choose to go there because you reject Jesus Christ and will die in your sins... God does love you and Jesus Christ shed His blood to wash your sins away, Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God for your sins.
Sin is not just about morality, nor is hell about punishment. Sin is anything that isn't normal to natural order. Hell is just consequences of not doing what is natural. If we play with matches, we might get burnt. The law of God is just house rules, there to protect. To repent literally means to turn around and alter direction. To believe is also to obey. The path is narrow. If you've never discovered Jesus, try him, he will wash your conscience clean and put you on the road to God.
What kind of paramedic would use the fear and confusion of a possibly dying patient to push a personal religious agenda?!What a disgusting abuse of his position!Shame on you sir!
@whowantstoknowido I'm quite sure a paramedic would know how to take care of someone, Plus you talk about it like the medic is doing this for his own gain ....He's only really trying to be nice .....What would you say to him? ....something like oh sorry man but it's game over .....I'm sure we would all like to be told we are loved when we are in bad situation's
@Craigbennett87 actually i would like an honest evaluation of my condition. If it is indeed game over...so be it.Its still better than"belive what i tell you 'cause you are going into the fire NOW!.Try to remember that while the gospel is a message of hope to belivers to unbelivers it is only a threat.Perhaps as you say the paramedic was trying to be nice but "My way or hell!"comes across as a bit strong. In fact in some cases the stress could help push a patient over the edge.Heart attack?BOO!!
@kidharris55 That's not what the Bible says. I Corinthians 2:9-10 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
Religious people follow a belief system, in a consistant way. Religious practices do not "save" people, but neither does not being religious.
@FamineIsAwesome We choose. He didn't make Hell for humans, it was made for the monsters; spiritual beings. By choosing to side with the monsters...and against the Messiah...we choose to go to that place, rather than His place.
You sure? What about people who never heard of Jesus Christ. What about the Aztec and the Maya in central Mexico? Why would god do such imperfect unfair bullshit things, and expect us to think he's perfect?
i am not an atheist, i just believe that organize religions are murdering the whole point in believing in God and Heaven. I've been to many churches, catholic, Mormon, christian, etc, and all i see is pure hypocrites sitting next to me, sinning a lot more than me, a guy that never goes to church...
THese storys are beautiful, i hate when people talk badly about people that are just explaining what they expirienced. be nice! :) heaven and hell are real, and i want to go to heaven, i have had a problem with drugs for a long time, but i pray everynight, and i am finally feeling strength to get better, god is real, accept him into your heart and you will be loved and you will just feel so much better about your life, and who knows? maybe you will have a new begining :) god bless you all.
@suprasandsex I know what this guy is talking about when he talks about the depression of hell. I had the worst case of MDD (major depression) that they had ever seen. It was actuall this video that led me to Christ. The night I was saved, the depression was gone instantly forever. It was later revealed to me that it was the depression as that in the furnace.
@suprasandsex this man makes everything up!! Ive heard that people from the catholic or christian church are making stories up to say to people. dont be an atheist, come to our church and you dont come in hell. its like a pr stunt. hell is something only the christian believe to be true its something they created to be the truth. If you hear great people talk about this, well I dont hear the words heaven or hell I just here great stories...that has nothing to do with religion!
He did not see people who were alive at the time he went to hell. Sounds pretty stable to me. Now, if he had seen people who were alive as dead...well, that would have been different. Every knee will bend and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Asking Jesus to forgive one's sins means giving up pride in one's self. Pride and rebellion are the main reasons people refuse Jesus gift of forgiveness. Real faith changes a person from self-centered to centered on Jesus and others.
The Bible does not teach eternal punishment. God's love & mercy endures forever. Does it really endure forever or only in this life? How can it be Good News if it doesn't translate to the afterlife? He's a better Father than we are, right? He will still judge but He won't write people off forever.
1 Timothy 4:10- This is why we work hard and continue to struggle, for our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers.
HELL IS REAL!!! If we have lied, stolen, hated someone, looked with lust, had sex outside of marriage, used profanity, etc., we are guilty and in danger of spending eternity in hell after this life. However, that is not God's desire for us. Christ came from heaven to take our punishment on Himself and die on a cross. Three days later He arose and now commands us to turn from sin and trust in Him. See my video titled “Warning:Four Types of People That Are Hellbound”.
Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Psa 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell ( GRAVE ); neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
I don't believe in PURGATORY, david did not go to hell, i believe in the day of JUDGEMENT. God will come with FIRE.
i belive god is trying to convince people through so many ways for them because they would just not belive the word of god, but its too bad if your still that blind.
Jesus Christ is my Savior and I believe this man's sincerity. The way to Jesus Christ is faith, and many people will not believe even with a man's testimony like this. I believe this man is sincere. God Bless you all brothers and sisters and non-believers too.
Alright, lets stop for a minute. We have a guy that admits he was not in a stable mental state, then he gets in a fight, then he loses a ton of blood, then he loses consciousness, then undergoes drugs for an operation, and then he is going to tell us a story about how he went to hell.... Wow, I'm so glad God is picking the cream of the crop to give these experiences to. I'm sorry, did reality ruin your video watching experience?
@Nightweaver5 Your just ignorant to understand it. He's there always, just in different ways. Your making absolutely no sense because God is always watching and helps you all the time.
A life of a fool is about faith. Having faith means you are too lazy to look for yourself. If life is about faith, why do we have hospitals, vaccines, medicine, and doctors? We have these because someone didnt have faith in God's healing touch.
Faith has absolutely nothing to do with life, except to serve as an excuse for the unknown by the ignorant.
@Nightweaver5 He was watching. He always is. But you need to learn what he wants you to do. It's not his fault people sin, but he does punish them. You are just way too ignorant
@SAMUELINFANTE How does learning what this god wants me to do have anything to do with a woman being raped, a child being molested, and wars? Use your brain when speaking to others, please, I am giving you that same courtsey. Your logic has been dwindled down to speaking in random catch-all phrases. Think about what you are saying.
So what if he punishes evildoers. The fact is, he let evil be done to innocent people - and that is absolutely repulsive. If your god exists, he is evil.
@Nightweaver5 Everything that happens in your life has a reason. Someone who was robbed when they were little will later in life be a successful policeman or even better. Everything in your life matters. Not everything in your life will be good, because we do not deserve it. That's what heaven is for, when you deserve for everything to be perfect you will get it. People like you are the ones who will not be accepted.
@SAMUELINFANTE At this point, you even have other Christians saying, 'Um, I don't think that's in the Bible'. In no verse in the Bible is it stated that for every bad thing that happens to you, you will have a good thing happen later on. This is just something you made up so you don't have to think & you can selfishly sleep at night. I wonder what a child who starved to death will be with he grows up...?
So why am I not going to heaven? Because I actually use my 'God-given' brain?
@Nightweaver5 Because you speak against God, thinking you are better than him. Thinking you know more than him. Nobody knows why anything happens. It's something called "Faith" that you need to continue
@SAMUELINFANTE Faith is just an excuse not to think. Why should we be required not to use the brains he supposedly gave us? That's like me giving you a gun to defend yourself, but then buring you at the stake for firing it. What a hypocritical god.
If God only requires faith, why do we still need medicine, hospitals, orphanages, governments, and advanced technology?
It's pretty safe that the chances of your god existing is slim, and again, if that bastard does exist, he is pure evil.

@Nightweaver5 Why do you make God responsible for the actions and inaction's of men..Why do you put our evil on him?The people who commit evil acts or allow them to happen through inaction are the ones responsible not God.
@Draconus33 You are right, we are 100% responsible for our own actions. And that's it. It's just us. He is not helping our actions nor hindering them, b/c he doesn't exist. My point is that God does not exist, and if he actually did, he would be evil.
If God existed, he would be the parent of the chilrden in rags, sick and molested, and left to play in the streets with grenades in their pockets. And Christians would be the parents that say, ' these kids are responsible for themselves.'
@Draconus33 This not trolling. I will not get into a debate of the details of trolling (here, anyway). But I have presented very logical and reasonable thoughts and questions. I haven't asked anything that has never happened? I haven't said anything degrading. And I am just waiting on religious person who can tell me how they know God exists, and why they worship him as such a good entity.
My question to you is how do you know for certain God exists, the Bible is true, that God is good?
@Nightweaver5 So you want my testimony? What evidence level do you require? That of a civil court or criminal court level? The former is lower. You main objection from looking at your comments is the problem of Evil.
@Draconus33 As far as what level of evidence? Something that defines a difference between a Christian/Catholic/Muslim and a person suffering from schizophrenia (the auditory voices and imaginary friends). If by court level, you mean directly observable, then yeah.
If I told you I had a gift for you, but I need your money, time, thoughts, soul (if this exists), to live by my code, and lastly to worship me, at the very least you would want proof, right?
@Nightweaver5 before we start how much Dawkins have you read? His bias and lack of research was shocking to say the least, good debater though. The reason I ask is I get the same objections from everyone who has read him,and not one of them has any solid footing. He should have stuck to biology..there at least he has the proper education to speak.
@Draconus33 I haven't read any of his books. I know he is a prominent atheist, but I simply lack the time to be able to sit down read these kinds of books. Since I have answered your question, I will propose one of my own:
It's safe to assume that the core of Christianity/Catholicism/Muslim faith is the book they use. In this case, let's just take the Bible. How do you read it? Is it 100% without flaw? Is it speculative/interpretive reading or literal reading? Which version do you read?
@Nightweaver5 You study scripture not just read, keeping a history resource handy and a concordance. Some of it is literal and some is parable the context makes it pretty clear as to which is which.I use several versions,NIV,King James,Hebrew,The Message..Some translators are better than others in different parts of scripture. Infallibility?
@Draconus33 Quite so. Even if there was only one translation and version. This history of the Bible is sketchy at best. This book suffers from 100s of years of hand written copying/translating, the Dark Ages, the massive corruption within the church, the Great Schism, and sssooo much more. Did you know some copies were rewritten by people who couldn't even read (the priests were too lazy I guess)?
That book hardly deserves any credibility. And this is how a god represents himself to humans?
@Nightweaver5 What you have failed to mention is the fragments and whole copies we have from antiquity all match with but few variations. That being the end of the book of Mark. The old testament hasn't changed in at least 2000 years. The Jewish scribes were extremely meticulous in their trade and went so far as to count even the number of letters per line to ensure error free copies, the Catholics were almost as stringent. So it is trustworthy.More so than other ancient documents.
@Draconus33 These 'fragments' you refer come from a time where handwriting was extremely poor. So having an old copy is hardly impressive. So the same contradictions in the Old Testament have been there for the past 2k years as well?
You use the KJV. Do you know why this was written? B/c 400 years ago, England's gov't decided there were too many lose translations and copies out... Is that the result of 'Catholics were almost as stringent'? A GOVERNMENT decided their were too many variations..
@Nightweaver5 You have never seen the artistic work they put into the copies being able to write was a prereq. for coping scripture..your out in left field there. It doesn't matter the quality of the copy ..the info is still the same..strike 2
.What contradictions are you referring to in the Old Testament?
@Draconus33 C'mon man... Quality has everything to do with content Judas death Act1:18 Mat27:5-7 God seen Exo33:11 Joh1:18 Years of famine 2Sam24:13 1Chron21:11 Does God tempt? Gen22:1 Jas1:13 God angered forever? Jer3:12 Jer17:4 # of children of Michal 2Sam6:23 2Sam21:8 There are so many more. It seems that dispite the artistic work they put in, the quality was still 1st century level. Watch a foreign film, and you will find the quality of the translation is everything.
@Draconus33 That works, sorry, the last message was initially broken up with the 'enter' key so it would be easier to read, but once I sent it, Youtube decided against it.
@Draconus33 If we look at the christian God,he is said to be both all knowing and all powerfull. He chose to give man free will!He chose to create,at the very least the potential for evil. This makes him at least as responsible as his creations who exercise this "gift"!
@whowantstoknowido Are the parents of a grown criminal (who was raised in a moral environment) responsible for his actions? No.Neither is God responsible for yours or mine.
@Draconus33 I would not say that we have no responsiblity but that by creating the potential for evil God shares in it.Let's say my criminal child is a kleptomaniac or heavily addicted to drugs. If I know this and leave my wallet with a large amount of cash in it in his view unattended,am I not at least partly responsible when he helps steals it?True he made the choice to rob me,but i knowingly made it possible.
@Nightweaver5 The reality is that this experience changed this man from a drug addict, a criminal with a broken family into a man who realises he had to make changes in his life, for the better of himself and his family. The sircumstances are not of any importance, it's about the positive outcomes.
@NNSNS1 "The circumstances are not of any importance, it's abot the positive outcome." You didn't feel any sort of regret or uneasiness after saying that? If circumstances don't matter, what are politics about? What is the judicial system about? What is life about? It's all about how we got there, how we did it, and what we did it in response to. Circumstance is everything. It's your setting for the story of life. A better statement would be; 'God has nothing to do with any outcomes.'
@Nightweaver5 if you are an atheist than you can use this experience. these people actually felt real pain. if they were sleeping how do you explain the feeling of pain? how do you explain so many people that don't know eachother reporting similar experiences?
you know that jesus saved this man from his sins because he loves every man on earth. John 3:16 tells us that god loves us so much that he gave his only son.
It's not the act of accepting Jesus it's asking him to cover ur sins, and if u don't do that then u will go to hell. Ppl over think this it's not hard to comprehend
Athiests don't go to hell, if they DID go to hell, jews and muslims would probably go to hell too. Athiests just reincarnate or something, because if they had no religion, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GO?! So ya, now you people understand, and my conclusion is that all these history shows about athiests going to hell are COMPLETLY untrue. They just try to encourage athiests to become religious.
see, this supports my belief, all those people that were burning terribly in hell weren't people who didn't accept Jesus Christ, they were people who were did bad things in life! robbery, murder, rape, and assualt!
i think people going to hell just because they didn't accept jesus christ as there savoir is ridiclous. so if somebody were good there whole lives, saved billions of lives and put an end to evil in the universe but were muslim there gonna go to hell? why would God force people to believe something there not sure if it's real? God wouldn't be unjust like that if he was so good.
Mark of the Beast is the Hexagram (Seal of Solomon, six pointed star)
Name of a man = Solomon
Number of its name = 666 talents of gold collected by Solomon in one year
6 hundred, three score, and 6
Three pairs of triangles with their apexes touching. Each pair collectively represents the number 6, which qualifies the whole symbol as a graphical representation of 666
Solomon was the apostate king of israel that led judah into idolatry and worship of the gods of the mystery religions (satan)
If you do not know who Solomon is and his relationship to the occult especially freemasonry and qabala you will be deceived endtimes. Wide is the path that leads to destruction, straight and narrow is the path that leads to the kingdom few find it.
Check my profile!!!! I have everything you need to know, mark of the beast is seal of solomon (hexagram) false prophet is Obama, and Thomas Plantard is the antichrist! Israel is Mystery Babylon!
First, let me clarify the ten commandment comment, what I meant was the bigger picture, not bickering with parents, arguing, "life problems" etc. What I meant was, let's say everyone lived by the ten laws, how heavenly would it be to walk or travel anywhere without the worries of being robbed, murdered, raped etc, that is what I meant by being in heaven.
@Chitownrunthis Even with the commandments, you would still have sickness, death by accidents, and countless issues over how to define the commandments, so I still wouldn't call it a heaven. In terms of your answer for why to believe in God, you seem to be speaking more of personal truth, than objective truth. Personal truth is also usually needed for people, but it doesn't have to be related to God for everyone. In terms of becoming 'one with God', you are then also losing your own identity.
@HorenziAndTheAlps well that's why I explained there has to be a ying and a yang, how can one appreciate life without death, or health without sickness? As for the believing in God, everyone seeks truth its not a personal truth, it's a desire we all cant deny. Becoming one with God is not losing your identity, I love the things that I love without losing my identity, by becoming one with God is not meant to be taken literally, but spiritually.
@HorenziAndTheAlps Just to let you know, I'm not some nut bag, I graduated high school, college, and have a degree from US Army in chemical warfare, I also work in TV in Hollywood. Just to tell you one quick story, I moved to LA to pursue my dream for working in entertainment, I was struggling really bad my first year, broke, hungry, and living in one of the worst part of LA, I was about to give up, I couldn't land a gig if my life depended on it.
@HorenziAndTheAlps I prayed to God to help, about a week later he spoke to me and told me something was going to happen that week, I swear on my mothers eyes, it was my birthday that following week, on the day of my birthday I received not one, not two, but three phone calls about starting to work in TV. I told you this story for one reason and I want you to remember it, on your darkest hour when you have nowhere to turn, pray. I guarantee he will deliver.
@Chitownrunthis I still say this is personal truth, rather than objective truth. It may be a truth that works for you, but will not work for others. There are plenty of instances where people have been in their darkest hour, prayed, and gotten nothing. Also, isn't prayer in contrast with God's will? If everything goes according to God's plan, doesn't praying for a certain outcome go against God's own, original, will? Anyway, I never said (nor thought) you were a nut bag. Most people are theists
@HorenziAndTheAlps But without an objective nature to truth, how can anyone know anything at all about the nature of the Creator? For all we would then know, God might be some Lovecraftian horror waiting to turn us all into the equivalent of Soylent Green.
Believe because one day you will die and you will meet your creator. Look at it this way, either we are the luckiest creatures in the galaxy or we were created. Luckiest meaning that by chance we happened to have everything we need on this planet survive. Is the "cycle of life" just luck? Procreation, is that luck? Did everything happen by luck? Now if it did happen by luck then we are the unluckiest creatures for us to die and that's it, nothing.
@Chitownrunthis The issue of an afterlife has little or nothing to do with theism. Anyway, we do not know how common life may be in this universe. It could happen all the time, all over the different galaxies. Also, keep in mind that the argument you're using is a subjective one. If someone wins the lottery, he will think he is lucky. However, someone had to win the lotterly, because out of all the different numbers drawn, odds are, one of them will be the winning number.
@HorenziAndTheAlps He has been there when I needed him and has answered my prayers, but the way he displayed the "answer to my prayer" is something I simply cant explain, the way the events happened after and this didn't happen once or twice, it happens every time I ask, ask and you shall receive. Keep in mind what I told you before, belief is just that "believing" you believe in yourself to succeed in life.
@HorenziAndTheAlps Third, about being controlled by God, think of it this way, earth is a training ground for heaven, he has given us the free will to do whatever we please with our lives, artist, businessman, athlete, etc.. but when you understand "the truth" you then understand God, and at this point of your training you have become one with God, he has shown you "the light" "the way" and if you truly understand it then its not control.
@Chitownrunthis Also, going back to the question of why believe in God: as you said yourself, we are either the luckiest creatures in the galaxy, or we were created. Doesn't being the luckiest creatures in the galaxy inspire a joy, and gratitude for life, no matter what 'quality' your life is? If we were created by an all-knowing, all-'wise' being, we would expect life to be great. Meanwhile, when you believe we are here by chance, you are grateful just to be able to comprehend that we are here.
Second on belief of God, and why to believe, and this is my belief, it's important to know that because some believers might have different answers that others, such as different scientists with their own theories. Inside we all want to seek the truth, we need to know the truth, and to me, God is the truth, I have searched for a long time and he makes the most sense to me.
I believe in God, I believe in Jesus Christ and I know he is the son of God and the one who died for my sins. We wouldn't be here watching this if god wasn't real. There would be no need for things time this to watch if God wasn't real. I think that we make it harder than it needs to be allot of the time because we are humans, we need proof, and it's our own minds that we must control and once we have tried to understand ourselves then you'll begin to see that God is real, You will feel that Go
Does anyone ever wonder why the God debate always provokes different levels of emotions either way?Long after we are gone the debate will still rage on.It's either you believe or you don't full stop. There's no need to prove to anyone whether God exist or not, because we can all agree that we will all die, this mortal fallible be flesh will be somewhere in the soil of the earth. Now if you believe what this man is saying then follow Jesus if you don't then 4get it,why argue if you don't believe?
I challenge any atheist to a respectable duel!! You start the debate, bring on evolution, black holes, why believe in the bible's God, whatever it is, bring it on, I am ready!!!
@Chitownrunthis Alright, if you wish. Let's begin with the primary motive for atheism (not to be confused with anti-theism, though that has many reasons, as well). If there was a God, he surely does not want us to believe in him. Everything around us shows no sign of such a being. If someone hides in the shadows, as people walk by, I would guess that person doesn't want to be seen. So, even if there was a God, why believe in him?
@HorenziAndTheAlps He wants us to believe in him, believing is the essence of life, if you want to succeed in life you have to believe in yourself, weather it be a basketball player shooting a game winning free throw or ancient Egyptians constructing pyramids, there has to be belief. God is no different, and that's why he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. Take the ten commandments, if everyone followedthe ten laws would we not be in a heaven?
@Chitownrunthis No, I do not believe if all people followed the Ten Commandments would make the world a heaven. People always obeying their parents is in conflict with change and progress. And if no one worked on the Sabbath, hospitals, the food supply, and emergency services would fall apart. Also, yes, we all have to believe in something, or at least assume something, (such as believing the world exists) in order to thrive in the world, but why does someone have to believe in a god?
@HorenziAndTheAlps The thing is, some might say the world is filled with chaos, where is God, but who's fault is that? Ours of coarse, he gave us the free will to do whatever we want. What's the point of living your life if we were controlled by God? Another point, how can someone know what love is without pain, or how delicate life is without death, that's the genius of God. He's not hiding in the shadows, he's letting us live our lives.
@Chitownrunthis The world was filled with chaos long before man. All of evolution, the entire ecosystem, is founded on chaos that become orderly after millions of years, but that's another story. Another story is that we don't have free will, either, for all of our actions are because of either our brain structure, or our environment (meaning that God, being all-knowing, knew what we would become, and knew we had no way of changing it ourselves).
Another story is that love usually causes pain. If you didn't love a person who died, you wouldn't feel pain. If you didn't love someone who now hated you, you wouldn't feel pain, etc, etc. Life wouldn't be delicate without death, so the lesson would be pointless.
Also, you say yourself that life wouldn't have a point if it were controlled by God. If someone believes in, as well as loves God, they will probably try to do his will. If you do God's will, it is in contrast with what you call our own will. So, same question as before, even if God existed, why believe in him?
@HorenziAndTheAlps Something to thinks about, hes not hiding. Laminin is your body's cell-adhesion molecules. It is the "glue" that holds all the cells in your body together. Do you know what is so incredible about this? It's in the shape of a cross. The "glue" that holds your skin together, that holds your organs together, that literally holds everything in your body together, is a cross. Colossians 1:17 reads: "He ( Jesus Christ) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."
If you die, you'll never go back!!
If you are in Jahannam (hell) you'll never come back to earth!
Soon will you see.

Next time when they make another video such as this they may get the name/title right of The Messiah.

Why would you go to hell for overdosing on drugs? And if the people are warning him not to join him then why are they even in hell in the first place? They sound like a good group of people to me that wouldn't belong in such a fictional place.
james1forification1 1 month ago
@james1forification1 Sin is what takes people to hell. Stealing, lying, murder, hate, adultery, sexual lust, pride, greed, idol worship, blasphemy, dishonouring parents and not giving God His due worship. These sins which are the violation of the Ten Commandments make one guilty and deserving of going to hell. Have you sinned against God?
throneoftheking 1 month ago
@throneoftheking Yeah I have. I don't think God would really care if I worshiped him or not. I also don't really think God would punish me for something he gave me. (sex drive for example) I think it is important to realize that we are human and it's okay to make mistakes. If there is a God, and if he really cares about these kinds of things, I think we would only receive punishment for truely malicious things.
james1forification1 1 month ago
@james1forification1 God sees hate as murder. Have you ever hated someone? God sees sexual lust as adultery. Have you ever looked at a woman and lusted after her? God demands moral perfection from you. Murder (hate) is a very malicious thing so is adultery (sexual lust), lying, stealing, idol worship etc. If you have sinned just once the anger of God is abiding on you. God will punish you for your sins. There is only one way out, you need to be made perfect and that from an external source.
throneoftheking 1 month ago
@throneoftheking I can't help but feel attracted to women. Doesn't it seem you that God would punish me for something he instilled in me? I do hate and I do feel lust but experiencing these things only makes me human. I don't see eye to eye with you but thank you for sharing your view.
james1forification1 1 month ago
@james1forification1 God calls looking at a woman and having sexual fantasies for her as adultery. God sees you as a murderer (you hate), an adulterer (you lust). It is because of our sins that JESUS became a man. He lived the perfect life we could not. Then he stepped in and paid for our crimes against God by taking our place on the cross. God wants you to know him and the wonder of his forgiveness. Trust in JESUS today and God will forgive your crimes and set you free from your part in Hell!

@throneoftheking Dude dude dude listen... You need to stop trolling other people with your own religious beliefs. I believe in Love and Spirituality and if I'm damned to HELL because of this well... I suppose I will go to "Hell" Peace and Love Always
Baylorchick20 1 week ago
@Baylorchick20 uhhh. you just replied to me??? Anyway "they" are not my beliefs, I did not make them up but am simply passing onto you a warning from God. If you die in your sinful condition God will be forced to give you justice. If you have ever lied, stolen, hated, lusted, taken Gods name in vain then you will be found guilty and end up in Hell. This is why Jesus became a man 2000 years ago to give his life for your sins. If you accept Jesus as your Saviour you will be spared from Hell. :)
throneoftheking 1 week ago

@throneoftheking @throneoftheking I get it. God isn't leaving me in the dark I know that. Trolling Fundamentalist.
Baylorchick20 1 week ago
@Baylorchick20 It was Napoleon who once said "People will believe anything unless it is written in the Bible". The Bible speaks of a round earth, free floating in space, travelling in an orbit. There is much evidence to show the divine origins of the Bible but you seem to have a rebellious attitude that only God can break. Unless things change for you the darkness you have will remain, maybe forever. Don’t let your pride take you there, as there will be no way out.
throneoftheking 1 week ago
@throneoftheking Dude we all have our own personal darkness inside us. It's what makes you human. I know the bible speaks about those kinds of things. Only God will judge me when I pass on. Just spread Peace to everyone and you will win a piece of cheese! Haha just messing with you. Its always good to have a sense of humor. Peace
Baylorchick20 1 week ago
@Baylorchick20 I like your cheeky sense of humour but I feel Gods love for you and it is His love for you that pushes me to tell you the truth. I don’t want God to judge you because if that happens you will force Him to give you justice. Jesus came to this world to take the judgment of God onto himself so that if you trust in Christ to save you there will be no judgement day for you. It is because I care for you that I tell you what I tell you. Please view the videos on my channel. Take care.

@cbohar84 Scientifically backed? There hasn't been a single "athiest" that has proven the bible wrong. crazybeats396 1 month ago
@crazybeats396 Ive read the bible many times and I challenge any Christian to prove it's legitimacy through scientific evidence.

Religion flies people into towers
cbohar84 1 month ago
@cbohar84 It’s interesting that the founding fathers of what we call experimental science were all (with very few exceptions) believers in the Biblical God. You yourself are religious.....the religion of humanism ( yes it’s a registered religion ).
throneoftheking 1 month ago
@throneoftheking Many of the founders of experimental science lived in far primative eras, yeah Netwon believed in god for instance but he also believed in astrology and alchemy for that matter. You wont find too many modern day scientists proclaiming a religous faith. Science has freed humanity from superstition
cbohar84 1 month ago
@cbohar84 Humanism is a registered religion and is the choice religion for most evolutionists. There are thousands of Bible believing scientists today who used to be evolutionists who would disagree with you. You almost hit the nail on the head though. It’s all about world views. A belief in creation, God etc is a world view, but it’s the correct world view. I will assume your world view is that of naturalism i.e. nature is all there is and there is no supernatural realm. Am I correct?

Sin is not just about morality, nor is hell about punishment. Sin is anything that isn't normal to natural order. Hell is just consequences of not doing what is natural. If we play with matches, we might get burnt. The law of God is just house rules, there to protect. To repent literally means to turn around and alter direction. To believe is also to obey. The path is narrow. If you've never discovered Jesus, try him, he will wash your conscience clean and put you on the road to God.

If yes, then does God wait for you to bottom-out your life before stepping in? If yes, then your god is evil.
If no, then is God able to stop us before getting to this point, but choose not to? If yes, then, agian, your god is evil.
If no, then your god is not a god.
In short, your god either doesnt exist or he is evil. And an evil god can just go to hell.

If I was innocently put to death for a crime I didn't commit, is God watching?

A life of a fool is about faith. Having faith means you are too lazy to look for yourself. If life is about faith, why do we have hospitals, vaccines, medicine, and doctors? We have these because someone didnt have faith in God's healing touch.
Faith has absolutely nothing to do with life, except to serve as an excuse for the unknown by the ignorant.
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 He was watching. He always is. But you need to learn what he wants you to do. It's not his fault people sin, but he does punish them. You are just way too ignorant
SAMUELINFANTE 4 months ago
@SAMUELINFANTE How does learning what this god wants me to do have anything to do with a woman being raped, a child being molested, and wars? Use your brain when speaking to others, please, I am giving you that same courtsey. Your logic has been dwindled down to speaking in random catch-all phrases. Think about what you are saying.
So what if he punishes evildoers. The fact is, he let evil be done to innocent people - and that is absolutely repulsive. If your god exists, he is evil.
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 Everything that happens in your life has a reason. Someone who was robbed when they were little will later in life be a successful policeman or even better. Everything in your life matters. Not everything in your life will be good, because we do not deserve it. That's what heaven is for, when you deserve for everything to be perfect you will get it. People like you are the ones who will not be accepted.
SAMUELINFANTE 4 months ago
@SAMUELINFANTE At this point, you even have other Christians saying, 'Um, I don't think that's in the Bible'. In no verse in the Bible is it stated that for every bad thing that happens to you, you will have a good thing happen later on. This is just something you made up so you don't have to think & you can selfishly sleep at night. I wonder what a child who starved to death will be with he grows up...?
So why am I not going to heaven? Because I actually use my 'God-given' brain?
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 Because you speak against God, thinking you are better than him. Thinking you know more than him. Nobody knows why anything happens. It's something called "Faith" that you need to continue
SAMUELINFANTE 4 months ago

Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 You are right, we are 100% responsible for our own actions. And that's it. It's just us. He is not helping our actions nor hindering them, b/c he doesn't exist. My point is that God does not exist, and if he actually did, he would be evil.
If God existed, he would be the parent of the chilrden in rags, sick and molested, and left to play in the streets with grenades in their pockets. And Christians would be the parents that say, ' these kids are responsible for themselves.'
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 So why are you trolling this video..Just asking
Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 This not trolling. I will not get into a debate of the details of trolling (here, anyway). But I have presented very logical and reasonable thoughts and questions. I haven't asked anything that has never happened? I haven't said anything degrading. And I am just waiting on religious person who can tell me how they know God exists, and why they worship him as such a good entity.
My question to you is how do you know for certain God exists, the Bible is true, that God is good?
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 So you want my testimony? What evidence level do you require? That of a civil court or criminal court level? The former is lower. You main objection from looking at your comments is the problem of Evil.
Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 As far as what level of evidence? Something that defines a difference between a Christian/Catholic/Muslim and a person suffering from schizophrenia (the auditory voices and imaginary friends). If by court level, you mean directly observable, then yeah.
If I told you I had a gift for you, but I need your money, time, thoughts, soul (if this exists), to live by my code, and lastly to worship me, at the very least you would want proof, right?
Let's just prove if God exist, first
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 before we start how much Dawkins have you read? His bias and lack of research was shocking to say the least, good debater though. The reason I ask is I get the same objections from everyone who has read him,and not one of them has any solid footing. He should have stuck to biology..there at least he has the proper education to speak.
Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 I haven't read any of his books. I know he is a prominent atheist, but I simply lack the time to be able to sit down read these kinds of books. Since I have answered your question, I will propose one of my own:
It's safe to assume that the core of Christianity/Catholicism/Muslim faith is the book they use. In this case, let's just take the Bible. How do you read it? Is it 100% without flaw? Is it speculative/interpretive reading or literal reading? Which version do you read?
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 You study scripture not just read, keeping a history resource handy and a concordance. Some of it is literal and some is parable the context makes it pretty clear as to which is which.I use several versions,NIV,King James,Hebrew,The Message..Some translators are better than others in different parts of scripture. Infallibility?
Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 Quite so. Even if there was only one translation and version. This history of the Bible is sketchy at best. This book suffers from 100s of years of hand written copying/translating, the Dark Ages, the massive corruption within the church, the Great Schism, and sssooo much more. Did you know some copies were rewritten by people who couldn't even read (the priests were too lazy I guess)?
That book hardly deserves any credibility. And this is how a god represents himself to humans?
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 What you have failed to mention is the fragments and whole copies we have from antiquity all match with but few variations. That being the end of the book of Mark. The old testament hasn't changed in at least 2000 years. The Jewish scribes were extremely meticulous in their trade and went so far as to count even the number of letters per line to ensure error free copies, the Catholics were almost as stringent. So it is trustworthy.More so than other ancient documents.
Draconus33 4 months ago
@Draconus33 These 'fragments' you refer come from a time where handwriting was extremely poor. So having an old copy is hardly impressive. So the same contradictions in the Old Testament have been there for the past 2k years as well?
You use the KJV. Do you know why this was written? B/c 400 years ago, England's gov't decided there were too many lose translations and copies out... Is that the result of 'Catholics were almost as stringent'? A GOVERNMENT decided their were too many variations..
Nightweaver5 4 months ago
@Nightweaver5 You have never seen the artistic work they put into the copies being able to write was a prereq. for coping scripture..your out in left field there. It doesn't matter the quality of the copy ..the info is still the same..strike 2
.What contradictions are you referring to in the Old Testament?

@Draconus33 If we look at the christian God,he is said to be both all knowing and all powerfull. He chose to give man free will!He chose to create,at the very least the potential for evil. This makes him at least as responsible as his creations who exercise this "gift"!

Draconus33 1 month ago

NNSNS1 3 months ago
@NNSNS1 "The circumstances are not of any importance, it's abot the positive outcome." You didn't feel any sort of regret or uneasiness after saying that? If circumstances don't matter, what are politics about? What is the judicial system about? What is life about? It's all about how we got there, how we did it, and what we did it in response to. Circumstance is everything. It's your setting for the story of life. A better statement would be; 'God has nothing to do with any outcomes.'

So ya, now you people understand, and my conclusion is that all these history shows about athiests going to hell are COMPLETLY untrue. They just try to encourage athiests to become religious.

Ravenous11yt 6 months ago
@Ravenous11yt 666 comes from the Emporer Nero. His name, for Roman letters, could be translated to 666 in numerical form.

Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis Even with the commandments, you would still have sickness, death by accidents, and countless issues over how to define the commandments, so I still wouldn't call it a heaven. In terms of your answer for why to believe in God, you seem to be speaking more of personal truth, than objective truth. Personal truth is also usually needed for people, but it doesn't have to be related to God for everyone. In terms of becoming 'one with God', you are then also losing your own identity.
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago

Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps I prayed to God to help, about a week later he spoke to me and told me something was going to happen that week, I swear on my mothers eyes, it was my birthday that following week, on the day of my birthday I received not one, not two, but three phone calls about starting to work in TV. I told you this story for one reason and I want you to remember it, on your darkest hour when you have nowhere to turn, pray. I guarantee he will deliver.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis I still say this is personal truth, rather than objective truth. It may be a truth that works for you, but will not work for others. There are plenty of instances where people have been in their darkest hour, prayed, and gotten nothing. Also, isn't prayer in contrast with God's will? If everything goes according to God's plan, doesn't praying for a certain outcome go against God's own, original, will? Anyway, I never said (nor thought) you were a nut bag. Most people are theists
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps But without an objective nature to truth, how can anyone know anything at all about the nature of the Creator? For all we would then know, God might be some Lovecraftian horror waiting to turn us all into the equivalent of Soylent Green.
VampireYoshi 6 months ago
@VampireYoshi Exactly, if there was a god, he could be some horror waiting for us. Such an idea is about as plausible as an all-loving one.
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
Believe because one day you will die and you will meet your creator. Look at it this way, either we are the luckiest creatures in the galaxy or we were created. Luckiest meaning that by chance we happened to have everything we need on this planet survive. Is the "cycle of life" just luck? Procreation, is that luck? Did everything happen by luck? Now if it did happen by luck then we are the unluckiest creatures for us to die and that's it, nothing.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis The issue of an afterlife has little or nothing to do with theism. Anyway, we do not know how common life may be in this universe. It could happen all the time, all over the different galaxies. Also, keep in mind that the argument you're using is a subjective one. If someone wins the lottery, he will think he is lucky. However, someone had to win the lotterly, because out of all the different numbers drawn, odds are, one of them will be the winning number.
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps He has been there when I needed him and has answered my prayers, but the way he displayed the "answer to my prayer" is something I simply cant explain, the way the events happened after and this didn't happen once or twice, it happens every time I ask, ask and you shall receive. Keep in mind what I told you before, belief is just that "believing" you believe in yourself to succeed in life.

@HorenziAndTheAlps , God in no different, believe in God and he will take you on a journey to show you the truth.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps There are two other comments before these I forgot to hit the reply button.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps Third, about being controlled by God, think of it this way, earth is a training ground for heaven, he has given us the free will to do whatever we please with our lives, artist, businessman, athlete, etc.. but when you understand "the truth" you then understand God, and at this point of your training you have become one with God, he has shown you "the light" "the way" and if you truly understand it then its not control.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis Also, going back to the question of why believe in God: as you said yourself, we are either the luckiest creatures in the galaxy, or we were created. Doesn't being the luckiest creatures in the galaxy inspire a joy, and gratitude for life, no matter what 'quality' your life is? If we were created by an all-knowing, all-'wise' being, we would expect life to be great. Meanwhile, when you believe we are here by chance, you are grateful just to be able to comprehend that we are here.
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
Second on belief of God, and why to believe, and this is my belief, it's important to know that because some believers might have different answers that others, such as different scientists with their own theories. Inside we all want to seek the truth, we need to know the truth, and to me, God is the truth, I have searched for a long time and he makes the most sense to me.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
I believe in God, I believe in Jesus Christ and I know he is the son of God and the one who died for my sins. We wouldn't be here watching this if god wasn't real. There would be no need for things time this to watch if God wasn't real. I think that we make it harder than it needs to be allot of the time because we are humans, we need proof, and it's our own minds that we must control and once we have tried to understand ourselves then you'll begin to see that God is real, You will feel that Go

HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps I clearly stated in my comment that you must start the debate because I have no clue what you are trying to debate. So your move.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis Alright, if you wish. Let's begin with the primary motive for atheism (not to be confused with anti-theism, though that has many reasons, as well). If there was a God, he surely does not want us to believe in him. Everything around us shows no sign of such a being. If someone hides in the shadows, as people walk by, I would guess that person doesn't want to be seen. So, even if there was a God, why believe in him?
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps He wants us to believe in him, believing is the essence of life, if you want to succeed in life you have to believe in yourself, weather it be a basketball player shooting a game winning free throw or ancient Egyptians constructing pyramids, there has to be belief. God is no different, and that's why he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. Take the ten commandments, if everyone followedthe ten laws would we not be in a heaven?
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis No, I do not believe if all people followed the Ten Commandments would make the world a heaven. People always obeying their parents is in conflict with change and progress. And if no one worked on the Sabbath, hospitals, the food supply, and emergency services would fall apart. Also, yes, we all have to believe in something, or at least assume something, (such as believing the world exists) in order to thrive in the world, but why does someone have to believe in a god?
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps The thing is, some might say the world is filled with chaos, where is God, but who's fault is that? Ours of coarse, he gave us the free will to do whatever we want. What's the point of living your life if we were controlled by God? Another point, how can someone know what love is without pain, or how delicate life is without death, that's the genius of God. He's not hiding in the shadows, he's letting us live our lives.
Chitownrunthis 6 months ago
@Chitownrunthis The world was filled with chaos long before man. All of evolution, the entire ecosystem, is founded on chaos that become orderly after millions of years, but that's another story. Another story is that we don't have free will, either, for all of our actions are because of either our brain structure, or our environment (meaning that God, being all-knowing, knew what we would become, and knew we had no way of changing it ourselves).
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
Another story is that love usually causes pain. If you didn't love a person who died, you wouldn't feel pain. If you didn't love someone who now hated you, you wouldn't feel pain, etc, etc. Life wouldn't be delicate without death, so the lesson would be pointless.
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
Also, you say yourself that life wouldn't have a point if it were controlled by God. If someone believes in, as well as loves God, they will probably try to do his will. If you do God's will, it is in contrast with what you call our own will. So, same question as before, even if God existed, why believe in him?
HorenziAndTheAlps 6 months ago
@HorenziAndTheAlps Something to thinks about, hes not hiding. Laminin is your body's cell-adhesion molecules. It is the "glue" that holds all the cells in your body together. Do you know what is so incredible about this? It's in the shape of a cross. The "glue" that holds your skin together, that holds your organs together, that literally holds everything in your body together, is a cross. Colossians 1:17 reads: "He ( Jesus Christ) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."
