In an interview, Jensen said that when they filmed this scene, he got so caught up in the moment that he couldn't even say his lines (he was crying so hard). He had to walk away and calm down for a minute. That shows how committed he is to his character. He. Is. Amazing. <3 <3 <3 <3

I must have watched this scene about 20 times plus downloaded the ep in iTunes - but everytime I watch, it makes me cry so much! Both of them are brill in this scene, but Jensen just breaks my heart! It would have been nice if Sam had hugged Dean at the end though

I love Jared/Sam...but it's Jensen/Dean who makes me watch supernatural right from Day 1..and no it's not because he's one of the most good-looking species of manhood that I've seen, but his acting is damn near flawless..Jared has improved no doubt, but he's gonna take a long time to perfect..and Jensen..my god the way he cries..it breaks my damn heart EVERY TIME..Seriously, why hasn't showbiz sought him out yet?I LOVE JENSEN...

Oh my god, I've never ever cried so much by a scene before. It was mostly books, but truly, Jensen Ackles brings out whats truly inside us by just acting scenes like those. Its so damned perfect I imagined I was there and I cried. And the fact that Jensen himself cried while filming this scene shows how an amazing actor he is.

@RosaJMar Yeah in a interview or behind the scenes jensen said after this scene he had to walk away somewhere alone to finish crying because he just let the crying go in the scene and after it was over he couldn't stop!! This was an awesome scene and the greatest from jensen he should get an award for his acting:)

When Dean started to cry... I just felt like all my world was falling over me. He made me cry so hard, that I still crying like five minutes after watch this.

Jensen is a very good actor, not just a pretty face. Actually, it seems like Jensen felt what Dean was feeling in that moment. Like him, Jensen, was there, not Dean.

@alicesouzaa You're so right, Jensen completely brings out the emotion of the scene by just doing it truly. In a clip from a con he talks about how much he actually cried filming this scene, which is heartbreaking in of itself.

@MrsAckles09 Shows like these don't get the recognition that they deserve just because of what the show is about. Yeah, the emmy network will take a show that is about lawyers and doctors or a stupid family filled with idiots that can't act but they ignore a show like this with it's two leading men that are absolutley amazing actors and the writing is fabulous. But I'll bet you any amount of money in the world if Jensen or Jared joined House or the Good Wife or something, they would get the emmy
