Preston always had the biggest crowd when they were in the old division 3 - brought 1000 odd to Lincoln. Come to think of it I was at the Imps v Hartlepool game here, i would have only been 11 back then lol. Cheers for posting, takes me back!
Yeah pretty mad eh! And remember this is today's equivalent of league 2 (old money, 4th Division!) This was a great season for my team (Gillingham) who have since then been up to the championship and all the way back down to league 2 again!

Haha .. i was born in 1996 and too young to remember the old division format with division 1,2,3.
The terraces looked packed though to say its a division 3 game haha, too young to remember the terraces as well though :(
