thank you for the reply, to be clear i am a bull on commodities. however with that said, such a huge drop in silver last week caught all the silver stackers off gaurd. I do not see the average joe shop owner taking on silver in such a volital market place. that drop was large enough to sink many of business that are no long term stacking but are using the captial to turn over into next months profits...siver/gold is hedging that the USD has seen its day.
do not sell your gold and silver, pay them it the fiat money that borrowed beyond there means and thats why there raising taxes, because they spend spend spend. other wise you will be suck with worthless dollars when it goes to zero.
At this point it's mostly a symbolic gesture. It does get the idea out and lays some groundwork. The problem is the legal value of the coin is the face value printed on it.
@MrCheckitout123 in my opinion silver is more stable in reflecting commodity prices than the dollar...it would been great a few weeks ago- because it wouldnt have mattered as much! Oil also crashed- Whos unstable! :)
This is just the first step in educating us all back to how simple and smart the past generations were to be able to keep their wealth and use it without the threat of government or private banksters printing paper currencies and ruining our wealth through the hidden tax of inflation (the debasing of the paper/making it worth less).
Great start for Utah. I hope other states follow along as well!
So, does this mean if you get a contract of employment in utah you can say, i don´t want a fixed amount of dollars every month, but a fixed amount of ounces of silver or gold ??
Stupid legislation, just stupid.

Apparently it is only to the face value of a gold or silver coin that you can use in Utah.
For example Who would use a gold eagle with a face value of $50 dollars that’s worth $1500 dollars ?

@TheSilverGuild Just confirmed this is true. This is how the bankers killed the legislation.
Silver eagles are only worth their face value of $1dollar in Utah & not the spot price

you cant mix in good money without getting rid of a bad money first.

Sounds like a wealth grab by the state government. People must be short of money in Utah.
