usually i tape my hands and then do the marble-ing. then wait for it to dry off a bit before peeling off the tape. Its much less troublesome to clean off

For the water marble. You can dip 2-3 fingers at a time if you want to reduce the time taken. And also try to use room temperatured water.

The water is supposed to be hot or warm water. If not, The lacquer will dry in the water.

It dries fast because it's cheap nail polish. It works fine on OPI and China Glaze.
