  • Excellent. Thanks.

  • Very nice Aeolian Player! I have one that is a 1250 model 46 note player built in 1888. I am in the process of rebuilding it now. Can't hardly wait till I get it finished. Where did you get the rolls for this organ to play? I am looking for some 46 note rolls for mine. I only have one roll that is a partial roll. It was mostly devoured by a mouse.

  • What a snappy and addictive rag. I've tried to play it on my piano. It's harder than it sounds. Lovely maintained instrument as well. Thanks for the great video!

  • Geewizzz,,Sounds just like " ragtime Jim",,on a 1908 Ruth,band organ,,,over on another site,,I remember the wonderful tune,,,Took a good while for someone to identify it,,,,Its over with Mechanical Music,,Cheers Ben

  • This would really draw some interest from anyone not knowing it's a player. The music sounds like the organist has 3 hands!

  • Great video ! Can you please post a video where you're playing ? Is this Aeolian electric ?

  • Hi, this performance was recorded in Gosport, Hampshire, England. This Aeolian organ is foot-treadle operated.

  • why dont the keys move like pianola

  • The keyboard action in these organs as well as the Orchestrelle is pneumatic rather than mechanical like a regular hand-played reed organ. Basically, the keys open and close the same set of valve ports the way the roll does, so the keys are not mechanically moved as in a player piano.

  • Nice ^^ i am quite fond of reed organs and that one is a corker 8D

  • EXCELLENT, ADAM!!!!!!!!!
