Texas's relentless drought may end up costing billions.
,
Texas is a place where a storm cooked up in the mountains of Big Bend National Park can turn Hill Country creek beds into watery death traps within minutes, and where a January dinner party can feature grilled steaks or pot roast, depending on which way the wind blows. But these days there is a tedious monotony to the weather.
You know what I don't get? All you skeptics are pretty much denieing that water has mass, and doesnt contribute to the water mass around it, your also essentially denying that ice melts?
Go outside dureing summer and TRY to get a perspective of HOW much hotter its gotten since say back in the 80-90s to now. Then you'll realise that all your argueing has gone toward bringing down a true theory.
Go to INFORMATIONLIBERATION website for a great expose of Al Fraud & the Marxist warm-mongers
How does relocating Industry from the West which has Environmental & Human Rights laws to countries that have little to no Environmental or even human rights laws help stop Global warming?
Al Gore helped engineer the economic destruction via NAFTA/GATT & WTO & now our children are being poisoned by Chinese slave labor made junk
"The most recent period when CO2 levels were as high as today was around 15 million years ago, during the Middle Miocene. CO2 levels were at about 400 ppm.
"What was the climate like at the time? Global temperatures were 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit higher than they are today.
"Sea level was approximately 75 to 120 feet higher. There was no permanent sea ice cap in the Arctic and very little ice on Antarctica and Greenland. "
This is true for Artic Pole, 'cause under its ice there not land, so your analisys is correct. But what do you say about the South Pole ice? It is on land, so, when it is melting, the massive water result will go to the ocean, increasing the sea level for hundred of meters
