  • I admit it. I do love it. But, if you want to go to the foundation, it's still ultimately an old-fashioned coal-powered car. Unless we start building more nuclear power plants. Common sense.

  • I want one! IBM I am proud of us (though I had nothing to do with it!).

  • So electric cars arn't required to look stupid anymore? Why does GMs version get four wheels instead of the usual three? Oh right, these are the oil company guys sticking their fingers in again. This is here now, but it is not new.

  • i captured a v dub eos if you need one ;-)

  • IBM does some amazing things, BUT lines of code does not say anything about quality. This argument and comparison is just business blabla. But nevertheless, this co-operation is interesting.

  • @Christriker Yeah, lines of code is a simple way to illustrate the complexity of the system, and therefore the need for better collaboration and governance in the software development tools.

  • This was interesting! My dad worked for GM at the South Gate and the Van Nuys plant and we always had GM cars (of course). I'm glad to see that GM is remaking itself and dealing with the structural business issues it had and going back to their technology roots of delivering cars that are both cool and leading in technology! I have worked in the aerospace business and know how software and electronics are becoming the core of new capability in todays vehicles ...and how complex it is!

  • The future of innovation....for those companies that desire to change and become leaders in their industry! Software is the future of the world....nothing else need be said!

  • THIS should be one of commercials for GM / Chevrolet. Very interesting...good job!

  • An exciting car and an incredible story! I'd highly encourage everyone to check out jazz.net and see the revolution in software development IBM is creating with the Jazz platform.

  • This is a great example of how software is driving innovation!
