@hairybearz legroom was okay for me but i'm only like 175cm, so i don't really know how a 195cm person would feel, but in general emirates is one of the airlines with the most spacious seats i think

@Malaysia1980 io ci vado ogni 3 mesi in Thailandia ed uso sia la Thai Airways (ottima compagnia, ma attualmente molto cara) sia Emirates dove puoi risparmiare circa 300 euro a persona, unico problema da Roma è lo scalo a Dubai. In compenso fai due tratte con l'Airbus 380 che è spettacolare. Nel filmato si vede la partenza alle ore 5.23 di mattina da Dubai. Aggiungiamo circa 6 ore di volo e 3 ore di fuso comunque atterri a Bangkok alle ore locali 14.30 circa. Grazie del commento e W Thailand

La classe economy del 380 è a piano terra ed è paragonabile per grandezza delle poltrone, schermo e tante altre cose ad una business class della compagnia italiana. In prima classe con il 380 ho fatto solo una breve tratta da Bangkok ad Hong Kong, non mi dilungo, ti dico solo che è un sogno !!! Piccole suite con porta e bagni con doccia...non vado oltre. Sono troppo innamorato dell'Asia. Ciao a presto

I am gutted... I have booked to fly on EK372 in November 2010 because it was supposed to be an A380, and Emirates now use a B777-300 on this route. Gutted! Stil a fantastic airline though :)

Traveled on Emirates for the first time last month, came back Friday and I have to say Emirates is nothing special, apart from the 'hot towels' given before take off, I don't see why this is better than any other carrier in the middle east. The food is appalling, service is average and the whole flight experience is nothing special. You can't say that I just had a bad experience, I traveled on four emirates flights and all of them were average! Very disappointed, rather travel on Gulf Air! :)

I was on the exact same flight 3 weeks ago..

At DXB while we were all aboard & waiting for pushback the Captain detected a hydraulics problem. After some time, we were all asked to leave the aircraft as repairs would be prolonged. On leaving i took a photo of a swarm of engineers gathered around 1 of the engines, its casing dismantled & fluid all over the tarmac. A Security/Police team saw me snap this & demanded to see the pic then made me delete it saying, 'no photo.. no photo.'
