@Apple101gsxr you have to use heavy attacks only and when he is about to hit press L2 and the character will jump back and charge him with heavy attack. at the end of this level you will have to defeat 2 trolls (not ogres)

@flobenresist108 Seriously, when the goblins and shielded orcs broke out of that big log, I shook with fear. When the Uruk-Hai berserker leapt down from the top, I nearly had a heart attack. Man, this game was scary back in the day...

@LEGOZRULE not even that the fucking cave trolls on this level, and the friggin orcs and shit that were in that encampment and the orcs coming up out of the water, that was more scary for me, also the level the breeched wall er watever scared the shit out of me as well. Im hopefully getting this game soon so i can play this shit again, and get return of the king, and re live those days of glory.

I love using Legolas for his bows but i like Gimli bcuz of his strenth not so sure about Aragorn i dont like using him at all

@gilly0804 I always did aswell, due to his powerful bow when it came to the trolls. However, once I learned that Aragorn's sword is better for that situation, I started using Aragorn here.

I am new to this game...I am a REAL NEWBIE...how do I find out how to just work the controller? My son got this for me for Xmas since I love the trilogy....so I am now trying to learn how to play the game. Thanks

i would recommend going to a local Game Stop if you have one in your area since your new to the game.i can give you few helpful hints.. the X button i believe is your action button (sword) either your Square or Circle button is Jump( not sure about the triangle button) those round nob aka controllers one of them should make your character run and i think the other one controls the camera.

if you got a instruction booklet with the game. it tells you how to use the controller.

If you don't know yet: Yes, you can. Forest Trolls can be shot, but only in their back, as every other part of their body is "arrow-immune".
