use guard attack move to kill officer, notice that if you kill a regullar officer with you guardattack move you get 100 xp instead of 50, and for the one who drop 100 xp you will get 200, 200 is highest, same thing with horse and weapons, i play the game and try to kill the officer drop horse by attack, then i reload and kill him with guard attack move i got higher quality horse, (guard attack or guard charge are all the same result) if the time trick doesnt work some times. you should try this.

You know, you don't really have to change the time and settings or anything. It really doesn't make a difference. When I got my first rare horse, I didn't change my time or anything. However, you must follow the instructions step by step. One step wrong, and you don't get the horse. But sometimes, when you want to get a rare warhorse, you must complete a battle by doing all of the targets. This greatly increase your chance of getting a warhorse.

Ok this is the way i do it. I have powered lu bu up to lv 50 have a level 100 weapon and i just play through on guan du on 1 player on either master or choas. It's completely random doesn't seem to matter about requirements. Ive got dapple king and ebon king. Lu Bu doesn't even have lady luck so it doesn't matter. Have find saddle and pick up the saddle from the box in guan du and then kill yuan shao keep playing it over and over and you will get a legendary horse. Didn't take me that long.
Has anyone got anywhere with the time tricks on xbox 360? I've watched several guides on getting the red hare and tried it loads of times, but haven't had any luck. I already found an Ebon King, but that was before i knew about the time tricks, and was by luck.

For Shadow Runner, Ling Tong and Zhou Fang WILL indeed drop weapons. But idk how to get Auburn King? Here it's posted as at Guan Du. But another site says at Shi Ting. Idk? It's the only other king horse I need.
To get this, set your PS3's time as 8/04/2008 12:01:00 a.m. Play Guan Du, Cao Cao's forces on easy. With two players, select two characters with the Lady Luck skill (Liu Bei and Zhen Ji). Have both of them ride horses with Find Saddle (I suggest that the character you're using to have a fast horse). As soon as you start the level, immediately rush to Yuan Shao and kill him, completing Targets 2 & 3. You should receive Ginger Striker (save him).
After that, go back to your PS3's clock and reset it back to 8/04/2008 12:01:00 a.m. Repeat the entire process again. After that, you should receive Ultimate Dream (definitely save him). Using a high level character (recommended to be lvl. 50) with Horsemanship (Lu Bu, Guan Yu, Ma Chao), level up Ultimate Dream to lvl 5. I personally repeated Lu Bu's musou mode on Normal mode. Have fun with the best horse in the game! :D
Its easy, he just made it SEEM hard. If u have a PS3, do the time thing, THEN do the SHI TING mission and complete objective 3 ONLY!! the box is located on the front side of the castle Cao Xiu is ambushed in.
THEN, redo the mission one more time and follow the same steps. And after youre done, you should get a horse the SECOND time that is Southern Striker, NOT the first time. SET THE TIME BACK TO WHAT YOU STARTED WITH TO KEEP THE HORSE AFTER THE MISSION. THERE U GO

it's all about your LUCK, I got grey king randomly when I was playing the last level of liu bei's story mode. and I got the other 2 by doing the chang ban run and 1 in guan du when I was trying to level up my horses.

I'm pretty sure the drops are random, like from an enemy commander, you will mostly see 200 exp but sometimes they drop weapons and horses.
I was able to get most of them by only using one player. (Max Liu Bei) Shadow runner and Hex Mark his only the last one I can't seem to get. Guess the two players must be imperative right?

Every person has their own skills (when you finish a level it tells you to pick skills for a player), Liu Bie (cant spell sorry), Gaun Ding (or something), and maybe Zhen Ji, I'm not sure about her you will have to check. That is lady luck, if you have anymore questions just ask me and I'll help you!
All I paid attention to for the first few minutes was the bottom screen. Interesting that the Al was actually able to knock you off your own horse this time! I see Koei is stepping up their game! ...
I have actually gotten both redhare, hex max, Auburn King and 3 Dapple kings today by using the guide. Now I want the Ebon king and I have tried over dozen times and nothing. So could some plz tell me the difference in detail between the Dapple and Ebon king.
you don't really have to change the time unless you are very desperate to get it as for me i only use to person w/ lady luck play each stage and get 4 saddle all the time when you get a horse that has the key word consider and havenly then trian it unitl it reaches leve 5 for you chance cuase i got a lot of horse kings
Layluck and playing on different difficultity setting doesn't make a diffence, just play the game and try to get all 4 saddles everytime.
Like I said I got 3 of the rare horses by playing the game.
For Example I got the Shadow runner king with Xiahou Dun on the yellow turban stage on easy and I only pick up one saddle, Later on I got another Shadow runner king with Gan Ning half way through his story line on hard and I only pick up 2 staddles on the stage I got the SRK.
Listen everyone there is no way to get the 6 rare horses other then luck, I got 3 of them just by playing as I saw fit.
You only need to find a horse that says that HIS EYES CONSIDER THE WORLD AND HE HAS A HEAVENLY PHYSHIC and then train him up to level 5. plz just ignore any spelling mistakes that I have made.

After that, go back to your PS3's clock and reset it back to 8/04/2008 12:01:00 a.m. Repeat the entire process again. After that, you should receive Ultimate Dream (definitely save him). Using a high level character (recommended to be lvl. 50) with Horsemanship (Lu Bu, Guan Yu, Ma Chao), level up Ultimate Dream to lvl 5. I personally repeated Lu Bu's musou mode on Normal mode. Have fun with the best horse in the game! :D

Its easy, he just made it SEEM hard. If u have a PS3, do the time thing, THEN do the SHI TING mission and complete objective 3 ONLY!! the box is located on the front side of the castle Cao Xiu is ambushed in.
THEN, redo the mission one more time and follow the same steps. And after youre done, you should get a horse the SECOND time that is Southern Striker, NOT the first time. SET THE TIME BACK TO WHAT YOU STARTED WITH TO KEEP THE HORSE AFTER THE MISSION. THERE U GO

it's all about your LUCK, I got grey king randomly when I was playing the last level of liu bei's story mode. and I got the other 2 by doing the chang ban run and 1 in guan du when I was trying to level up my horses.

dude i have Red Hare thaz funny... u dont have it still... u suppose 2 get it in Guan Du, with Liu Bei and Zhen Ji and since u have XBox u dont need time trick i guess... but u just have to run and just kill Yuan Shao and dont take anything but his Saddle reward than u can take anything after u kill him

*when i control two player by myself, they drop exp, until i try to do it with two people. so if drop exp happened, try to do it with two people, will working, i donot konw why :( *
I'm pretty sure the drops are random, like from an enemy commander, you will mostly see 200 exp but sometimes they drop weapons and horses.

I was able to get most of them by only using one player. (Max Liu Bei) Shadow runner and Hex Mark his only the last one I can't seem to get. Guess the two players must be imperative right?

I'am not sure he replies to your messages but I will.
Every person has their own skills (when you finish a level it tells you to pick skills for a player), Liu Bie (cant spell sorry), Gaun Ding (or something), and maybe Zhen Ji, I'm not sure about her you will have to check. That is lady luck, if you have anymore questions just ask me and I'll help you!

I have actually gotten both redhare, hex max, Auburn King and 3 Dapple kings today by using the guide. Now I want the Ebon king and I have tried over dozen times and nothing. So could some plz tell me the difference in detail between the Dapple and Ebon king.

you don't really have to change the time unless you are very desperate to get it as for me i only use to person w/ lady luck play each stage and get 4 saddle all the time when you get a horse that has the key word consider and havenly then trian it unitl it reaches leve 5 for you chance cuase i got a lot of horse kings

dude i got 2 Hex Mark-like horses. 1st one wit only liu bei second was with hex mark 1 that had karmic spirit . it counts as 1 lady luck

Layluck and playing on different difficultity setting doesn't make a diffence, just play the game and try to get all 4 saddles everytime.
Like I said I got 3 of the rare horses by playing the game.
For Example I got the Shadow runner king with Xiahou Dun on the yellow turban stage on easy and I only pick up one saddle, Later on I got another Shadow runner king with Gan Ning half way through his story line on hard and I only pick up 2 staddles on the stage I got the SRK.

Listen everyone there is no way to get the 6 rare horses other then luck, I got 3 of them just by playing as I saw fit.
You only need to find a horse that says that HIS EYES CONSIDER THE WORLD AND HE HAS A HEAVENLY PHYSHIC and then train him up to level 5. plz just ignore any spelling mistakes that I have made.
