Carr's apology seemed insincere and attention craving. He could have at least made eye contact with the camera, and his sniffling seemed so played out. I feel so attached to Casey after watching all of these, and although I've driven drunk before thinking "I drive better drunk, I'm more paranoid and aware, yada yada yada," I will not take that risk ever again. Very selfish move. I hope your family is healing as much as possible.

Because most modern D.A.'s do not want to take the chance on losing a case in court thus hurting their perceived high conviction rates.

Its easier to plea a case so that you can show a conviction than to go to trial and possibly lose. Its a numbers game.
