  • oooh...!!!! genial...!

  • Great that this document exist. I saw Grotowki with his group in the beginning 70th in Paris. I think it was in a church or some similar space.

  • aaa...OK! Theatre Language: The holocaust is portrayed in this video. The characters arefull of shame shown by how exposed they are with the holes in there clothing. They also have a rythmic motion showing how they are at the end of there life and dont care anymore whether they survive or not. The cilky, wedding dress veil like cloth is as if it's a epeice of the womans past and she is remembering how everything was before.

  • Incrível!

  • amazing...thats great theater

  • "Poor" Theatre actually ^^ That's what he called it, when it is more practical than vocal ^^

  • :) Actually the "Poor" Theatre is when you strip it of all props and backrounds, leaving only the actors on stage. He believed everything else was extra, and was basically his way of trying to get theatre away from movies and T.V. because he believed they were on a different level, and could not compete with each other :D

  • Aaaah fooie . lol I'm just studying the guy lmao ...thanks for the info though xD

  • actuuuaalllyyy poor theatre doesnt mean just actors onstage, it just means all sets/prop are created from "found" objects..so no, there wont be built sets..but found rocks and burlaps sacks are ok. this IS poor theatre :-P

  • Dziękuję za umieszczenie tego fragmentu. Dużo mi wyjaśnił, pomimo krótkiego czasu trwania. Recuerdos! :)

  • (continuation) The violin playing is part of the jewish tradition and is screatchy and sometimes sounds awfull showing how the jewish heritage is falling apart.
