  • I call shenanigans

  • LOOK COOL WATH DID YOU USE

  • @macintosh39

idiot, cant read, cant spell, cant use a fucking question mark.

  • Not the origami i expected when clicking the video link :(

  • We will someday order a canoe in a business envelope lay it flat in the sun and watch the sun assemble it into its proper shape. We'll build houses from sheets of polymers that can be compressed into a cube in the recycler, then reshaped into a sheet that will form into whatever we paint on it, as long as we are free to be in the presence of the sun. We have all the potential the universe has to offer, if only we're willing to learn.

  • NOT IMPRESS.

  • amazing stuff

  • Solar panels that seek out sunlight like plants do?

  • Beautiful!!! Just as flower petals!!!

  • There was nothing instant about that..

  • @Dexxxter7780

    more instant than noodles maybe

  • Students in NORTH CAROLINA huh?

Student: 'Hey bubba get that crayon and drawr some lines on this paper'

Bubba: 'go get that bright light from the AV team and we is gonna light this thing up like the fourth of july... yee haw'

Both the student and bubba submitted this to NEWSCIENTIST as a work of art.

  • @wwickeddogg The Bolsheviks sure had strange fetishes.

  • I'll be impressed when it can move something thicker then paper, like a solar panel for example...

  • It is not an origami, it just looks like one.

  • I'm not impressed until you can do a crane...

  • @Dougster yeah I was kinda like"ummm Origami?"

Me too. I want to see them make a crane.

  • It's plastic that shrinks when heated. They printed black lines on it, and the black absorbs more heat, so it folds.

  • @cmyanmar13 Did you read the article or just made that stuff up because I am not bothered to click on the link.

  • @cmyanmar13 holy shit.

  • @cmyanmar13 Are you sure that's how it works?

  • @EclecticSceptic Read the description :)

  • @PhysicsTowerTeam I read the description before and somehow I managed to skip that part. I must have been reading it at 5am or something. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • @EclecticSceptic And it's 2 AM here and I'm tired (and forgetful) :)

    But seriously, I can't tell if it's sarcasm :S

  • @PhysicsTowerTeam No no I'm being sincere! I don't know how I missed it.

  • wtf is this boringness

  • @luckviewer777 It's your mum on my dick.

  • @luckviewer777 Photo-contractile textiles, bro
