Mya was great and the past dance experience should have nothing to do with it tap is totally diffrent from ballroom. If I am correct. Kristi and Shawn both would have had some dance traning in the form of ballet. Should they not have won because of that? I can tell you if the stars were bad dancers no one would watch.

I'm a longtime fan of Mya but I still can't believe DWTS casted her. She has been dancing since she was little. I love how the show only depcited her tap background but the truth is she has done dancing on broadway and in the movie 'Chicago' of course. I really don't think it's fair to the other contestants. I don't know how the casting goes on this show, but she can't be denied a spot. Look at Aaron Carter. It's the same exact thing with him, but was he doing ball room dances? No.  There's more to it than just the Latin Dances on this show. There's also the slow Waltz, Quickstep, what have you, on this show.

donny has been taking ballroom lessons privately for 2 years now and has been dancing for half a century professionally. Aaron has been taking choreography for much of his life and even took lessons from Michael Jackson. Kelly Osborne was in Chicago and has also taken tap, hip-hop ballet. Joanna Krupa danced ballet professionally when she was younger. This show has cast a season full of people with experience so the playing field is even.
